  1. We did the same in 2017 and 2023; 2 and a half weeks since the end of the season until we found out what was happening and announced the manager situation.
  2. Anyone really care? Only stumbled upon it by accident.
  3. Hardly a reject is he
  4. Don't think there is a precedent for that, allocations are already out and the UCL south would have to run a team short, knock down affect through all the divisions. In these cases, you'd reprieve the best team on PPG that finished in the relegation places which wouldn't be Rugby but that could be anywhere and you'd have teams being moved around, complete nightmare with recruitment already underway.
  5. I'm gonna miss him maaate
  6. No chance Brentford fish in the championship for their next manager. It will be a top coach at a European club.
  7. Would expect that means the midlands league runs with 21 teams, for the second season running.
  8. Jokes about serial killers IE Harold Shipman and Fred West are not, nor have ever been funny.
  9. No sorry, you've misunderstood my badly phrased post. The 18 days was the decision to hire Enzo and not hire smith permanently, after relegation. Both instances refer to the wait of around 18 days after relegation to make a decision.
  10. Maybe at the services if he goes up the M1, but he won't be managing us. If we were an ambitious non basket case club, we would go for him.
  11. Would love Ange here but he wouldn't touch this basket case with a barge pole
  12. Leicester Road go into liquidation
  13. Should say again, it took about 18 days to decide on Smith/Enzo in 2023 and Shakespeare in 2017; Lets see what next week brings with regards to news?
  14. Remember - we gave him that three year contract, blame the idiots that renewed it.
  15. Exceptional news, dodged a huge 40 calibre bullet.
  16. Carrick is a ridiculous suggestion, I know we all seemingly want RVN out but sacked by Middlesbrough is not where we should be looking.
  17. Bryan Hamilton?
  18. A bit of history, On 8 June 2017, Shakespeare signed a three-year deal to be the permanent manager for Leicester City. (last match of the 16/17 season was 21/5/17). Last game of the 2022/2023 season was 28/5/23, Smith released and Enzo appointed 16th June 2023. 18 days and 19 days respectively when we've changed manager at the end of the season. Evidently we like to take our time!
  19. I was gonna also post Brian Carey
  20. Comedy transfer window last summer (BEK excepted).
  21. Think our best bet is Enzo helping us out.
  22. Been convinced since last autumn we will get O'Neil.
  23. Drinkwater? James? De Laet?
  24. It's sour grapes from York, they have short memories, finished 22 points behind Brackley in the season they went up from the north and won the playoffs.
