Stats should shame the premier league - the gap is too high. 9 wins in 86 games (as it stands) for the newly promoted teams. 71 goals scored, 191 conceded. -121 goal difference. Miserable. Only reason to get promoted now is to blag some money.

What killed us was this ridiculous myth we needed "premier league experience" - the squad was already full of it !!! We needed actual quality players - 3 or 4 genuine quality players - to raise our level to be competitive. Okoli, Skipp were a complete waste of money and sit on the bench. Amateurish decision making and no strategy.

Actually getting a bit fed up of the "squad is terrible" narrative; it's a poor squad but should be doing much better than 11 defeats in 12, no goals in 6 home games and a minus 38 goal difference (or whatever it now is).
