We did do that, the players we signed just didn't work out. We signed Daka, i remember reading on reddit literally most people on the thread all sorts of supporters at other clubs saying what a signing it was I think at the time Liverpool we're extremely interested in him, he's come here and been a donkey. Soumare, one of the stand out performers for Lille when they won the league, came here and has been a donkey. Praet, Perez, etc etc etc the list goes on and on. All of our financial problems have come under Rodgers era, we got rid of our sell 1 player a year approach to try and push for top 4, we gave players unbelieavble wages and its cooked us. Think of the money that has left this club for nothing and how much we spent on them its disgusting for a club of our size. Slimani - 30m, Silva - 22m, Ihenacho - 30m, Tielesmans 40m, Perez - 30m, soy - 22m, Praet - 17m, Benkovic - 12m, Kapustka - 7m, Mendy 20m, Amartey - 7m. Thats just the transfer fee's, imagine the wages over 3-5 years on all of these.

I think what makes it worse is the fact our overall expenditure is 1.6m with 2 weeks left, we've lost our more creative player and not a signing insight. We literally need 4 starters, this part of the season we as fans should be thinking what our best lineup potentially is after seeing them in pre season with the hope of signing 1 player near the end of the window to help out, not needed literally 40% of a starting lineup.

To be honest, i'm suprised there isnt more worry. We're 3 weeks out from starting our first league game, we literally right of now are weaker than we were last season due to losing KDH, the signings we've made apart from Okoli he is the only player who you would say might be in the first team (Im excluding Fatawu as he played last year). We probably will sign a couple and hopefully the club brings in the quality we as fans crave/cooper wants but I can't see us signing 4-5 players which is what is needed for us to challenge this year. Apart from Winks, Fatawu, Mavvy, I wouldn't start any of the other strikers/midfielders in our team, we need starting 11 improvements and we need them yesterday.

We're 3 weeks off and we need atleast 4 players in...Next week is going to be a massive week really, if we get none in bricks are going to be flying not just from the fans by the sounds of it.

Rudkin is going to have to pull a master class, we need 4-5 players in 2 weeks. Midfielders, Striker. Get on it now.

We're desperate for like 3-4 players for the starting lineup, we have to sign 2 midfielders and a striker, who can literally walk into the team, its a ****ing must.
