Depends on what we are talking about. If you mean the american style mac and cheese by Kraft then i tend to agree (but in a bowl, not a plate. Yes, I am a baby). If you are talking about macaroni and cheese "pie" then totally it is a side with say fried chicken or jerk chicken or bbq chicken of some sort.
