A player we need to sign at all costs, his ceiling is huge and if by missing AFCON it goes towards helping him signing him then fair play to him and where he sees his immediate future - bigger things likely in the future mind. This quells a lot of fear for the drop off in performance in Jan due to AFCON, joint most big chances created in the league and he’s now starting to see the output with assists etc. He’s now essential to getting promoted. Very special player this is good news and I’m sure he’ll get chances for the national side when he’s tearing it up in the premier league.

Casadei doesn’t start. We’ll need cover for Afcon and his versatility will be important for us to see the season. Already got good experience in England and will add a bit of guile. No brainer for me

Indeed a player that has regularly been given the armband but what does Enzo know! . A few on here moaned as to why we gave him a new contract at a time where we had zero idea how the team would pan out. A player who had led the league in tackles and interceptions. He is so versatile and we can rely on him to always put the effort in and at certain times of the game you know he’ll be putting in that last ditch tackle. Definitely matured as a player and does what he does well.

Occam’s Razor

Us getting relegated has put a stop on our own development and our community has now suffered as a direct consequence. Liverpool is a huge super rich city with billions of pounds worth of infrastructure developments. Our development would have been a huge gain for this city and Everton’s development would have continued regardless. West Ham were successfully sued before, they’ll be fine. It wouldn’t be £300m, it be considerably less. Saying all that I’m sure this isn’t happening. But one thing is certain we were Masters of our own downfall but Everton did outspend without a care for the rules of a number of seasons. If they stuck to the rules they’d have long been relegated. BTW we would be less capitalist FC as Everton are the organisation that has used capitalism to its own gain outside of the rules and state control. We’d be getting our rightful redistribution of the wealth, straight out of Das Kapital.
