But it’s entirely unwarranted he gets the Chelsea job yet, I think he’ll have wanted to leave after his open the air talks with our board and probably can’t believe his luck. But the Chelsea job is a huge step up and it could go horribly wrong for his career. Trusting our board to get his replacement and the long list over other things they need to get right this summer is hard to feel confident they’ll get right.

This is what a lot of people miss, we achieved huge success on the field that Brighton fans could only dream of due to good planning and strategy. Brighton from Europe to an 11 place finished having had a terrible 2nd half of the season. I like McKenna but he’s got his work cut out with a new squad in the best league in the world. Lots of well run clubs never achieve anything (if having built a nice ground counts 🤷‍♂️) just like Brighton. When he was celebrating with Wise when we won the league, I thought it was a bit strange. Como are building something and there is a big British contingent and premier league connections. I hope he gets the answers and support he is looking for from these meetings, as I believe if he does that will be our best chance of staying up.

There were a few on here who stated he wasn’t worth the pre agreed fee. This lad will be worth more than double that next season. His ceiling is huge the lad is 19, it painfully obvious what he had as a footballer and will continue to improve. How can you not love the bloke.

Drink in those remaining two games I honestly think he got something to offer even in the prem, for one more year. But the club probably can’t afford to offer what he’ll definitely get abroad but he deserves that. So here’s hoping her goes out having helped us get back to the prem. 🐐
