Us getting relegated has put a stop on our own development and our community has now suffered as a direct consequence. Liverpool is a huge super rich city with billions of pounds worth of infrastructure developments. Our development would have been a huge gain for this city and Everton’s development would have continued regardless.
West Ham were successfully sued before, they’ll be fine. It wouldn’t be £300m, it be considerably less.
Saying all that I’m sure this isn’t happening.
But one thing is certain we were Masters of our own downfall but Everton did outspend without a care for the rules of a number of seasons. If they stuck to the rules they’d have long been relegated.
BTW we would be less capitalist FC as Everton are the organisation that has used capitalism to its own gain outside of the rules and state control. We’d be getting our rightful redistribution of the wealth, straight out of Das Kapital.
