Why would they do that?

Don’t sit back

Scared to shoot.

We do this all the time. Passing it round the back while under pressure and the lethargy going forward is so predictable.

Leicester 'could face points deduction next season'
Lesta Legend replied to ClaphamFox's topic in Leicester City Forum
I hope so but who signs this off and changes the way we did something that got us success. If we don’t restructure and the same f@ck ups remain in place nothing will get better in the long run. -
Like when we won the prem, what they do well is score goals. Most goals per match 2nd highest shots ON target. They’re more clinical. Get shots on target and what do you know, some go in. We’ve missed most big chances. If we’d been even a little more clinical we’d definitely of achieved a record haul. They’re kinda average elsewhere but do what matters the most, score.

Doyle’s passing was very noticeable. Our fans had to make the players aware Abdul has acres of space. We played in a way from mid point of the first half how we should always play. Norwich are a good side. While we did slow down somewhat I think we were crying out for fresh legs to come on. But we pushed on for the 3rd and it clearly meant a lot to the team and manager, which is a good sign!

The system currently not working. It’s not rocket science to tweak a system to fit in with different players. What they call a plan B.
-
They’ll no doubt come back into the game. But come on you horns.
-
If he changes I’d be surprised. Shocked. But hopefully that means 3 points. If we lose Monday I’d hope the frustration of the fans is made clear.
-
Discussing it feels almost pointless No changes more of the same. That’s the Enzo way. Coady sitting on the bench. Passing around the back and losing possession. No intensity trying to pass it into the net. Squandered chances as we half seem surprised when we get near the net. Same formation and tactics. Norwich are a good team.

I am not calling for his head, yet. But the we can’t afford it BS is tiring. The long term future of the club is at risk if we don’t get promoted. The same attitude by the buffoons that run the club wouldn’t sack Rodger’s as we couldn’t afford to. Relegation cost them more and not getting promoted will be a disaster.

Business end of the season. I couldn’t care less about how much percent possession we have if our setup focuses less on getting shots on target. Our intensity always increases when we chase a goal. Start that way. And I’m sick of seeing us dangerously pass around the back when every team now presses us so high. We look like a fish out of water. Not working. A manager that sticks with his philosophy so narrowly just isn’t going to be a success. He talks about change but never follows through.
-
It be a welcome distraction

Positive feedback loop. Exactly how we’ve become complacent. Upper management don’t have their finger on the pulse and think everything on the ground is fine. Without change how is anything of this going to be better in the future.

Leicester 'could face points deduction next season'

Tanner confirms that EFL and Premier League pushing for points deduction this season. But we would have to agree to a fast track process, which seems a nonsense. -
As if we’re blaming Rudkin for the downturn in our performances after the stupid changes made by Ranieri. I want Rudkin gone because a lot of our stagnation is under his remit as the DOF over many years. He should be under severe pressure that’s down to Top. An organisation clearly not working.

We'll assume it’ll be in place if we don’t get promoted. Goes from bad to worse the clubs call to persist with we can’t afford to sack BR is paying dividends now. -
Enzo said they looked tired. Well use your subs then 🤌
-
They carry on playing their own game. Unlike us.
-
Especially when they could be agreeing deals now. Players like Kristiansen and Soumaré both had agreements in place and lo and behold both clubs won’t pay, we’ve known that for months. We hear nothing further about a renegotiation and agreement. They’re the players you know you’ll sell regardless of where we end up. They’ll no doubt be waiting until they know what league we’re in before starting anything. The clubs only tactic is to leave it to the last minute/ hold out for higher offers and and pray for the best. I don’t see how we have the capability as an organisation to get things done in a short space of time.

Another good performance. Scratch that a superb performance.

Some of our fans are bloody moronic. You don’t know anything about his injury and doubt you have the first clue about Biology even at GSCE level. Maybe just the support the lad rather than the typical unfounded negative knee jerk reactionary brain dead nonsense.
-
He deserves the chance. People seriously need to realise how bad Rodger’s man management was. He was treated so poorly. He isn’t a world beater but the lad is so comfortable on the ball and we need to plan for next year. I bet Enzo would have wanted this. With the turnover and FFP considerations this makes sense, as long as he isn’t offered a silly amount, then he’s a decent option for most premier league team squads.
