  1. With todays win against Huddersfield, we now have the same amount of points that Watford managed in all of last season, they finished 11th. Top 6 last season started at 69 points. 81 was technically enough to seal promotion.
  2. Not impossible. I think Southampton may take 2nd now and then it depends on the form going forward of Leeds and Ipswich.
  3. It's possible. We are currenly 25 points ahead of 7th, so we could have a play off place sealed by the end of Feb.
  4. Both teams will play weaker squads in the FA cup to focus on the league. There's a chance both could go out. Slim but possible.
  5. If that person has to be at least registered to get a supporter number and your name added to the ticket, I believe the answer is you do get a point.
  6. Booking history does seem fair. 1 point is 1 point, so you have to have either been at least a member or had a friend who was and got you in in the past. Points I think last 10 years so the vast majority will have a history of some sort. It still means people who can't travel/live in commutable distance are still out the loop, but it's a step in the right direction.
  7. More than a faff than it needed to be. Its always been the same that if you want the foot in the door you have to know a ST holder. If you hadn't had that connection those tickets would have still gone unsold. At least you got in and got to see a win.
  8. 11 more points would get us to the same total as 6th place last season managed. 81 points would have theoretically been enough for automatic promotion last season, meaning we just need 23 more points. Wouldn't want to draw every game between now and May though
  9. I gave to these charities yesterday. Always check with the charity commision how much of the money raised actually goes to the cause. Some spend over 50% on fundraising strangely. https://www.actionhomeless.org.uk/ Homeless charity in Leicester https://www.breastcanceruk.org.uk for my mother in law who started treatment for breast cancer 2 years ago today. She made a full recovery luckily. https://www.trusselltrust.org/ always best to give to the charity themselves than buy them stupid charity "songs" who donate only a fraction of the amount to the charity.
  10. Someone on FB claims the 4k at Millwall was because of returns and Rotherham "doesn't need a general sale as there are only about 150 tickets left." Que?
  11. Sorry for double posting! Honestly I think it's money reasons. Why charge 40 a ticket when youncan get 70 on the first purchase as they have to get a membership. Both teams are pushing for the prem but our finances have a lot more going out than Brum and someone thinks charging for membership will mean everyone who wants to go to a game will just pay it. Unless there was a walk out LCFC won't change. It just seems silly that the club would rather have an unsold seat than a seat sold at general sale.
  12. They used to do that. A few members I wasn't a member and used my account to get tickets. No idea why it stopped though.
  13. It's started a debate on the FB groups that there aren't as many tickets available as claimed. One person claimed that the 4k of empties at Millwall was "Maybe STH's who couldn't make that game" which I thought was a weak explaination. Others claiming the £30 charge is a way to help income for FFP seemed weak also. The club want a membership so they can capture data to prevent banned people getting in and also stop touts by having the ticket be in your name. It's why its still a swine to buy a ticket but if you can't make it and give it your friend/family member there is a chance you will be stopped or ejected because the ticket doesn't show your name as you walk in. Same with away end spot checks. They are cracking down on even face value exchange, which was always illegal but was sort of blind eyed until we hit the bigger time and groups popped up everywhere. People for example were trying to sell free disabled carer tickets for the face value of the ticket if purchased and pocketing the rest. The club were scanning the FB groups and banning people. I left Foxestalk for a while and I can see now the ticket exchange here has a disclaimer also. I am not sure if the same thing happened here, but it wouldn't surprise me. It does ruin the ability to wake up boxing day or over the Christmas break and decide late doors to pick a ticket up with your mates at the store if you want a last minute thing to do and have a bit of extra money, but there is an arguement on both sides. It's the shite state of football these days. If you can afford tickets you are gouged through the nose for them price wise, if you are someone who can't make every game and justify a membership, you can't buy a ticket off a mate who can't make it or buy one on general sale or the Championship away ends cost a stupid amount since theres no price cap. It's not about glory hunting fans or "you should have come see us when we were in L1 if you call yourself a fan." It's money (from both fans and LCFC) and the club trying to cover themselves and comply with police ensuring bans can be enforced. I don't think it's right but it is my thoughts on the state of football in general.
  14. Pfft...you call that dedication?!
  15. Are Everton expecting to pay for him using magic beans?
  16. She was under the delusion the fellow campmates had been feeding her that because she was getting put up for trials she was popular and getting a lot of airtime. Let's be honest, they would say anything to big her up to get the stars and get fed. Her vendetta against Fred made no sense, but her immaturity was front and centre after all that. If she wasn't lying in bed she was bitching. The line "we don't have to be clean, it's the jungle." It makes me wonder if it is the reason a few people have left on medical grounds. She took it for the exposure and it doesn't seem to have worked in her favour. At one point she was losing followers on her socials
  17. Been confirmed we have applied for compensation: Relegated clubs have applied for compensation The chair of the commission, David Phillips KC, also referenced applications for financial compensation from current Premier League clubs Burnley and Nottingham Forest and last season's relegated sides, Leicester City, Leeds United and Southampton. Phillips said he was "satisfied that the applicant clubs have potential claims for compensation" - but noted the commission holds no "inherent jurisdiction" and it is instead "the role of the Premier League to bring and prosecute complaints". https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/live/football/67447647?ns_mchannel=social&ns_source=twitter&ns_campaign=bbc_live&ns_linkname=6557715a25a3f53728286219%26Relegated clubs have applied for compensation%262023-11-17T14%3A01%3A10.429Z&ns_fee=0&pinned_post_locator=urn:asset:f3f33599-93fb-46e6-82bf-22bf9b03c926&pinned_post_asset_id=6557715a25a3f53728286219&pinned_post_type=share
  18. Didn't a precident get set for this though when Sheff United tried to take West Ham to court over the Tevez situation? We will go for lost revenue I assume, but if the place has no money anyway we will get bugger all. Would make a fantastic episode of Can't Pay, We Take It Away though.
  19. Credit to whoever made this on Reddit
  20. Good to equal our total wins last season in just 10 games. 69 points was enough for play offs last season so we are 39% of the way there and technically 84 would have been enough for automatic promotion last year, so we are 32% of the way there in early October. Ipswich look tasty, a nice gap between us and 3rd helps if the wheels do start falling off. I am forever a pessimist so not going to say we look a shoe in. There is always the chance of something going sideways, but I hope not.
  21. Guessing it will appear at kick off then. Edit: found it!
  22. Was Vardy wound up by the fans? I wasn't there and didn't hear anything over the radio?
  23. Did another 22 minutes today but spent 19 minutes of it in Zone 5 of the heart tracking thingy. So now I believe I am about to die of a heart attack. Topped out at 181 for a second. I am 34 and 230lb, so hoping if I go slower I will stop this happening again.
  24. Nothing to lose, both will play the kids, the wind may even go in our favour... Win on pens I think.
  25. Probably should, but got to firstly respect you opponent and also I am unbelievably superstitious.
