  1. He’s 35 in football years though. He’s already played more games than most players in their entire careers. Reminds me of the likes of Owen and Rooney who played so much football so early that their legs had basically gone by 25.
  2. In danger? It went into tailspin 2.5 years ago.
  3. I can’t tell who some of them are supposed to be.
  4. He’ll almost certainly sign a year extension if he continues playing like this I think.
  5. I do agree that Ricardo has probably been the weakest player of our regular XI though tbf. It’s a high bar so it’s not a criticism, just an observation. But sometimes people on here make out he’s the same player he was 4 years ago when he just doesn’t have that explosiveness anymore. Not convinced we’ll ever see him up and down the wing all game like he did 3 or 4 seasons back. Seen several times he’s a “cheat code at this level” on here, I don’t really think we’ve seen that for 3 seasons since his injury though. Still think he’s a tidy player at this level and not a concern or anything but he’s not really a standout player or anything these days like he was pre-injury.
  6. 175th goal for the club today. Incredible.
  7. 4 goals in 4 now after his slow start. Him and Vardy both clicking into gear now and scoring goals for fun.
  8. Is that 175 Leicester goals for Vardy now?
  9. Playing an ageing version of the 2018 Leicester back 2 that conceded 60 goals in a season, what do they expect?
  10. Is anyone else’s FoxesHub shaking like it’s in an earthquake now?
  11. Agree. Vestergaard has been quality this season. People who wanted him dropped because of last season are crackers.
  12. Nacho
  13. Wow didn’t expect Faes to be rotated. He was utter quality vs Preston.
  14. Winks has been great so absolutely not an argument against him, but goals and assists ultimately win you matches. I think the opposite to this and that people put too much stock in consistency, which is way easier to achieve for defensive and midfield players over attacking players when it’s always going to be less consistent in attacking players. Like when our fans voted Maguire over Vardy for POTS, when Wellens won it over King and when many were calling for KDH to win over Maddison. Also more and more these days I hear the opinion that Kante won us the league single handedly and was a much better player than Mahrez or Vardy. Not saying Winks won’t deserve it, he’s been excellent so far, but I tend to think the opposite to you and that people underrate the importance of players who get the goals and assists and that those are the players who can win games on their own and overrate “consistency” to an extent. Tielemans also got wildly overrated by some on here in his final couple of seasons, to point people were still calling him “world class” and “our most important player” and “he’ll be harder to replace than Maddison or Barnes” even when he’d been crap for 2 years because he was a “metronome” (even when he was missing passes all the time). We’ve had several games this season already where the difference has been our finishing and how clinical we are at creating and finishing goals. It’s a cliche but the biggest difference between the Championship and Premier League has been the finishing and how much more rarely you’re punished for making mistakes in this division.
  15. To me this is much more enjoyable to watch than finishing 14th in the Premier League though. Just enjoy the fact we’re winning again, the level you’re playing at isn’t the be all and end all.
  16. I miss the old days where Birch would wheel out ex-players at half time, often players who’d played for both clubs. Would love them to bring out Huth for this one.
  17. Nacho answered his critics tonight. Been superb since he came on
  18. They were joint topbecause they had the easiest fixtures as people had posted here. Way too early to say this. Teams haven’t even played half the other sides once yet
  19. Been brilliant the past few weeks after a poor start to the season. Hopefully he keeps this up.
  20. How did he miss? Should’ve been 0-1 down
  21. Dunno why Matt Elliott thinks it’s a penalty, was a blatant dive by Mavididi. Frustrating that he needed to turn back and dive instead of just playing the ball in
  22. Some people are dyslexic, some people don’t have English as their 1st language, some people don’t care. If they’re understandable, who cares?
  23. That may be true but it’s not helpful to people who are trying to gradually shift and it’s working to say “you’re doing it wrong, you need to do it this way”. Find what works for you as an individual
  24. I recently discovered kvarg and it really helped as a better alternative to chocolate, ice cream and other sweet treats. I think trying to find healthier replacements to the junk food you’re addicted to helps a lot, rather than thinking about just going cold turkey or cutting out the junk food.
