This is a good article and I'm glad he's doing well. I do think there's still a quite troubling (for lack of a better word) pairing of being okay/performing well in how he frames things though. So far it's that he can perform better if he's mentally in a decent place but I wonder what the flipside of that is if/when he goes through a downturn of form.

I think a lot of the increased premiums are also because of the difficulty the insurance companies are having making money on their investments currently too. I feel like the 'increased risk' argument is an oversimplification to avoid any questions asked by customers.

Mine went up like 110% to £700 (on an 18 year old 1.4 litre diesel car worth about £300), and that was after shopping around. 5 years no claims, had my license 14 years, never made a claim on insurance etc. Good luck!

That's a fair enough point, and the Maddison point is definitely true. I do think most of the players you've named are shit though (not Tielemans but he was unfit). I see it a bit differently; I've always thought academy graduates get a particularly tough ride from some posters. But maybe that's me seeing something that's not there.

That may be true for you (and the majority) but there are a loud minority who are incredibly harsh on any and all of our academy graduates - Barnes, Hamza, KDH all got pelters last year/over the last few years and most were undeserved.
