    Starfield

If you put the difficulty setting down it's pretty much impossible to lose space combat
  2. Or that their intelligence isn't as good as they thought - which Saturday's events might support.
  3. I wrote my thesis on defining terrorism. One of the issues is that it is very hard to have an objective definition of terrorism which is wide enough to capture what the West generally wants to as terrorism without also capturing certain Western institutions. Because of that, terrorism has to be defined subjectively and for that reason the BBC can't use the word without being subjective.

    Depression

That's class. Assuming you've posted in this thread before, but longleat is class for that
  6. I agree with this 100% btw was just also mouthing hydrogen
  7. The speed they go up is the problem I think
  8. To be fair I agree and was being a bit tongue in cheek. Traditionally in a Tory, LD target seat but now it won't matter at all as I'm in a very safe Labour seat. Would probably end up voting Labour if it was a Labour target seat that was held by Tories.
  9. I will probably vote Greens because I think Labour will walk the election at a national level anyway, and I agree more with Green than current Labour.
  10. It will have to. Hydrogen is currently not very green and is not a fuel. It's extremely inefficient for energy.
  11. I mean I do understand it I just think it's a shame and too quick. One discussion was maybe a bit close to going over the top but they'd discontinued it. I think this is a great place to be able to speak to people with diverse perspectives but who have something in common which means most conversations are respectful. Bit frustrating
  12. Standard heavy handed closing a thread which was actually a pretty good space for discussion of an important topic...
  13. I agree. I think the luxury afforded to us to be able to consider difficult situations should be celebrated. However, I feel obliged to research and discuss this situation with others. Precisely because I am in no immediate danger of harm I think it is kind of important to give it the thought it deserves and help other people to learn at the same time. This is a great forum to do that. Simply ignoring and saying nothing because we aren't immediately effected or aren't experts on Middle Eastern doesn't sit right with me. I respect those who don't want to talk about it however.
  14. I agreed with you on a lot of the rest of your comment but I don't understand how the semantics of the UK legal system matters at all, with it being an emotive and inflammatory subject. I do actually agree that language is important and historically important in this, mostly the 'othering' of Palestinians, but the difference in murder or manslaughter when indiscriminately blowing up a tiny area of land where people are forced to live doesn't seem to matter. Interesting that Hamas are now giving Israeli civilians time to leave Ashkelon in a gesture Israel has often used before obliterating people's houses as it shows how comparable they are.
  15. Fair points. I'm not sure I agree on the murder vs manslaughter point though and think there will be countless of examples which fall firmly into the first label perpetrated by both sides.
  16. But Israel are directly murdering civilians (right now) in response. Flattening "entire neighborhoods" (bbc) in the worst bombing in decaded; no water, food or electricity for anyone in Gaza. If Hamas can't be included then how can Netanyahu's Israel?
  17. Obviously condemning Hamas but couldn't you level the same claims at Israel both historically and about their current response. I don't get why it's so wrong to both say the actions of Hamas are completely wrong while accepting the pressure cooker approach Israel has taken for many years is the only fertile land in which more people could be taken into the 'islamist mass murderer' ideology. I don't think 'Israel has realised' anything... For me, this is an escalation which was necessarily going to happen, caused both by Hamas hatred but also by the conditions within which Palestine is forced to exist.
  18. I mean sure thats pretty stupid but it isn't necessarily pro-Hamas is it?
  19. Agreed and do think theyll go low profile, could go for Carrick too though.
  20. What clique you weirdo
  21. @StriderHiryu rightfully runs this thread but this is an exceptionally good description of the physical element. Makes a lot of sense, thanks
  22. I think that it's having the opposite impact on other teams. When we score now other teams immediately resign themselves to losing. We are winning games before they even start. Agree with your points on KDH but for a late developer i have faith he will continue to grow and will become a sensational player. Currently he's a joke to have in the Championship and there are still areas he will be targeting to improve. Really like him
  23. Think he's on about when he was still here
  24. If nacho scored that first time it's the best goal I've ever seen
  25. Legend. Love the guy so much
