Haydos Posted 3 May 2015 Posted 3 May 2015 I'm a firm believer in getting behind them and giving them a kick up the arse. Protest before and after the game by all means. Is Pardew a bad manager then? They hounded him out. Robson? If we're talking about delusions of grandeur Newcastle fit the definition. Pardew was a yes-man for Ashley. He became just as dull, ambition-less and negative as Ashley was. He played players out of position, hoofball, made poor signings. They wanted him replacing with a decent manager, not John Carver. 90% of them will tell you that Pardew was just part of the problem that is Ashley. They don't want a spineless, excuse-making coward in charge, believe me, my mate's a Newcastle fan and I never stop hearing about it.

Pardew was only there because of his gambling debts to Ashley, did the minimum possible to keep his debts paid.
Dan Posted 3 May 2015 Posted 3 May 2015 If Mike Ashley ran Leicester, had slapped Sports Direct over absolutely everything to do with the club, sold our best players nearly every transfer window without replacing them, appointed people who were unworthy of their positions and lowered expectations to being happy to make the top six of the Championship every year, sacrificing the cups in order to do so, would any of you be happy?

TYOTF would. He'd have turned up and clapped and we would have marched to the Premier League title.
Dan Posted 3 May 2015 Posted 3 May 2015 Not even to mention the lack of fight. Think watching sides like Newcastle & Liverpool has made me appreciate the fight that Pearson's managed to install into our players. We want it more than some of the others.
Corky Posted 3 May 2015 Posted 3 May 2015 Pearson did the right thing putting so much pace in the side. They couldn't handle it. Throw in our set piece strength and obvious desire and we played the game superbly.
ADK Posted 3 May 2015 Posted 3 May 2015 Always makes me laugh when people take the moral high ground with opposition fans. All fans are the same to be honest.
Parafox Posted 4 May 2015 Posted 4 May 2015 How many teams have a club-branded chopper? Yep, I've got "Leicester City till I die come on you Foxes" tattooed on mine. Takes up almost half the length...
