Carlos88LCFC Posted 14 July 2015 Posted 14 July 2015 49 mill for Sterling makes me think 10m for Phillips is a steal!
sphericalfox Posted 14 July 2015 Posted 14 July 2015 Too inconsistent for that kind of price. He's not better or equal to what we already have. QPR are trying to recoup serious losses, and are trying to rinse anyone who's interested in their assets. Let them keep him and watch them stew in their FFP filth.
SomalianFox15 Posted 14 July 2015 Posted 14 July 2015 Did he play on the wing for QPR last season? If he can play in central midfield then I think he would be a very good signing, even for 10 million.
Guest Col city fan Posted 14 July 2015 Posted 14 July 2015 Funny player is Phillips. On his day he can look bloody brilliant! His good days though are all too infrequent. I wouldn't bother.
Tuna Posted 14 July 2015 Posted 14 July 2015 Did he play on the wing for QPR last season? If he can play in central midfield then I think he would be a very good signing, even for 10 million. He's no central midfielder.
Wymsey Posted 14 July 2015 Posted 14 July 2015 He's someone that Derby/Hull/Forest would want, to assist their strikeforce when they're expected to be a threat. Top-6 Championship player, but nothing more.
Guest MattP Posted 14 July 2015 Posted 14 July 2015 No better than what we already have. Along with Caulker and Fer part of the most overated team trio in the PL last season.
simon789us Posted 15 July 2015 Posted 15 July 2015 Bit harsh to say he's a top 6 champ player I thought him and Austin were good for them last season and we do need a winger agree with post about fer and culker really overrated
benpicko Posted 15 July 2015 Posted 15 July 2015 Didn't he only get played when Redknapp left and then go on to top the European assists stats for 2015?
simon789us Posted 16 July 2015 Posted 16 July 2015 Yeah Tom ince of a couple of years ago shows how much he has gone down signing for derby
Simo86 Posted 16 July 2015 Posted 16 July 2015 Would have preferred Tom Ince than Phillips tbh What makes you say that? Ince has never done anything in the Prem whereas Phillips has.
dylanlegend Posted 16 July 2015 Posted 16 July 2015 What makes you say that? Ince has never done anything in the Prem whereas Phillips has. Scored 11 goals in 18 apps for Derby at the end of last season. Not bad going for a winger even in the championship
