AyewJoking Posted 15 July 2015 Posted 15 July 2015 Fúck sake. I'm sure CR had to think really hard whether his wages would be worth him being scrutinized, attacked and put under an enourmous amount of pressure. Im not convinced by his appointment but I'm sure he wont give a monkey's what the media think and nor will the players.
fleckneymike Posted 15 July 2015 Posted 15 July 2015 I'm pretty sure one man can't make a whole group/club fail, we still have the same players, backroom staff and owners from last season just with a more experienced manager on board. He won't send us down that's for sure and if he can improve on the season we had last year then I don't see what the negativity is all about!!! He will attract better players than Pearson and most managers on the short list and has knowledge of big games all over Europe. People need to calm the **** down. Have you met Peter Taylor?
whoareyaaa Posted 15 July 2015 Posted 15 July 2015 Have you met Peter Taylor? Luckily for us Ranieri is in a different class to poor old Peter Taylor.
stox259 Posted 15 July 2015 Posted 15 July 2015 The fear of failure to me weighs so much more with Leicester as a club than it will with Ranieri. If it doesn't work out Ranieri will go back to Italy largely unaffected and with a large pay off. If it doesn't work out for Leicester it would be pretty disastrous imo. I don't know him well enough to understand his hunger and motivation for the role. If he wants it then i'm sure he will succeed as he clearly is not a 'bad' manager. But if he is here for a final pay cheque then without doubt this will not end well. Do I trust the owners to have interviewed him well enough to really establish his drive for the role? Not sure, but time will tell. Signing Cambiasso is key. If he signs then for me its a massive vote of confidence and if he's good enough for that bald headed legend then he's good enough for me.
Hungry Hungry Fox Posted 15 July 2015 Posted 15 July 2015 As a club, LCFC have always thrived in adversity **** the media! Up the city!
Nalis Posted 15 July 2015 Posted 15 July 2015 Thought this was going to be another thread regarding the use of 11 fat blokes staying on the line in order to achieve 38 0-0 draws during the season. I'm a little disappointed that its not in all honesty.
artursteppe Posted 15 July 2015 Posted 15 July 2015 As I said re Lineker's comment that he was uninspiring, maybe he was but that's not the point pray tell us Gary who would have been inspiring that would have come to lcfc. If you don't know or can't think of anyone why bother with your negativity. Blimey, I actually agree with you.
lestalee Posted 15 July 2015 Posted 15 July 2015 F**k Lineker!,,,uninspiring you being the expert your as boring as your commentary on motd, lets give the guy a chance ffs
smudger63 Posted 16 July 2015 Posted 16 July 2015 Well done to Jimmy Floyd Hasselbank, who has just been interviewed on Sky about Ranieri, and who despite blatantly being guided down the road of, "what a useless manager Ranieri is, with his tinkering" by Jim White, actually said that Ranieri is a good manager and he can see exciting times ahead for Leicester. Jim White then swiftly moved on to talking about Burton Albion, after clearly not getting the answer he was hoping for!
trabuch Posted 16 July 2015 Posted 16 July 2015 Interview with Ranieri up on the OS - says the right things imo. No tricky questions obviously.
city187 Posted 16 July 2015 Posted 16 July 2015 Worst i heard was james scowcroft of all people sticking the boot in on ranieri. Your opinion on our club has as much affect as your playing career did wich was fook all. Dont think hes gave the club a second thought since he left but soon as talksport chucked a couple of pennys at him hes on there having a dig. Anyone is allowed a opinion but was blatantly obvious he knew nothing about Leicester when asked questions. Total grabbing cu*t
