Cheers for this. Only had the box a matter of weeks so was hoping I wouldn't be having to do manual updates so soon. I will be honest I would be happy if I Had the USA channels (fox/nbc/cbs etc) for the nfl and some tv shows and that's it really. I can live without half the stuff I have on there.

Just downloaded the zip and installed it, now Sportsdevil isn't working at all. Am I missing something?

I have just been informed by my girlfriend that my box has been delivered today. Looking forward to trying it tonight for the match.
What are the best add-ons to try, I mainly want it for football and movies.

There are loads and new ones coming out all the time. Those three are a good start.

Finally got round to buying one today.

Got the above deal but cost me £45.

Also purchased a Ethernet cable.

Hopefully be up and running soon.

Let me know if the keyboard is any good. The remote is a bit annoying but not sure if its annoying enough to buy the keyboard.

Also does anyone else use their box via ethanet instead of wifi? Any better?

I have to use the ethernet cable as my download speed is about 4-5mb per second.  If you've got decent broadband (or fibre) you'll probably be fine with wi-fi. 

 

Also, I've got a keyboard.  It's a bit crappy, but still a lot better than the remote that came with the box.

I have no idea how to get add ons. Can't even find Kodi. This is the box I have.

Yeah checked all the Apps and it isn't there. Have tried to download it on the App store and it keeps timing out. Presume it's due to my internet. Time to upgrade to fibre?

Try downloading from the browser, play can be temperamental at times.

Why don't you try wookie, it will add all the basics for you and update it too.

It's a bit long winded but saves you a lot of hassle long term.

If you read this http://www.tvaddons.ag/install-addons-kodi/ it will show you how to add the fusion installer which will configure most of the best know add ons for you.

Thanks for your help. Think I'm going to upgrade to Fibre then start again. Just followed the process to install Wookie and it was going to take about 6 hours to install!
