TMELcfc Posted 4 August 2015 Posted 4 August 2015 Think Schlupp is going to rip it up, his pace is fighting he just needs a bit more composure which we saw in glimpses. Mahrez needs to be more consistent, if he can, he'll be the difference in my opinion. Kante will need a few games to bed in, but expecting big things. And Vardy to carry on where he left off will be key. Hopefully end of last season form and the England call up will kick him onto that next level.
Julian Joachim Jr Shabadoo Posted 4 August 2015 Posted 4 August 2015 Huth. He gets the whole back line organised Think Mahrez will have a big handful of absolute 10/10 performances, but not enough that he'll be the standout player this season. Okazaki score 10 in his first 5 games (like Wood and Ulloa) then have a big old drought.
BoneDog Posted 5 August 2015 Posted 5 August 2015 I'm hoping to see Fuchs orchestrating plenty of sensational attacking moves.
foxfanazer Posted 5 August 2015 Posted 5 August 2015 Vardy again. It was as if these premier league defenders had never played against anything like him at some points last season. United in particular looked shell shocked when he was chasing them down. Love the bloke! Also got high hopes for Kramaric this season, hope he's bulked up a bit over the summer and improves his accuracy. I have a feeling Drinkwater could be the surprise improvement as well. Never got going last season but I've always believed he's got the class to establish himself in the prem
Silverdaz Posted 5 August 2015 Posted 5 August 2015 Drinkwater will step up this season and have a big season
Grey Fox Posted 5 August 2015 Posted 5 August 2015 I do think a few players will have good seasons, which is why I think as a team we will do well. I wouldn't be surprised if Drinkwater does a lot better than last season. The last time he had a poor season in the Championship he worked so hard over the next summer and was one of the players of the season when we went up. If he's done the same this summer then we could hopefully see more from him this season. I'm not writing him off despite the new midfield arrival(s). I think Schlupp, Mahrez and Krameric will all improve. I also think Vardy will continue to do well. However my pick of the new boys and the one I think could be player of the season is Okazaki. Maybe I'll be wrong but I just have a feeling he will do really well for us and I hope he does.
AS78UK Posted 5 August 2015 Posted 5 August 2015 Think Vardy will show that he has adapted even more to the Premier League and although defenders will know what's coming from his energy, they won't expect the improved goal tally. Schlupp/Mahrez will both continue to be more consistent. I hope Krameric finds his finishing boots early and gets some confidence to go with his undoubted talent. Think Huth and Kante will make us more solid defensively. Hoping to be surprised by the re-emergence of Drinkwater.
AS78UK Posted 5 August 2015 Posted 5 August 2015 We have got a very good squad of players. Only worry is that most teams are thinking the same thing...
ian_marshall Posted 5 August 2015 Posted 5 August 2015 Have a sneaky feeling King will shine this season. Personally felt he regressed under Pearson as he was forced into a more withdrawn role, however I can see Ranieri giving him the licence to get forward and Kingy almost becoming our own Frank Lampard. Aside from King, I too think Mahrez may have a good season, whilst I'm excited to see Kramaric now he's had time to settle in and get a full pre-season under his belt.
Clever Fox Posted 5 August 2015 Posted 5 August 2015 We have got a very good squad of players. Only worry is that most teams are thinking the same thing... True, But we ran the big clubs close last season and were never played off the park. With the exception of Cambiasso we're stronger now with the additions. It's all about the start if we start well momentum kick in and confidence grows. If we start bad it could be another long season. If C R can keep the player together then I think we'll be ok. But we've got to stop losing to teams below us.
justfoxes Posted 6 August 2015 Posted 6 August 2015 What we need on the pitch along with our outstanding performers is a leader we need someone to step up to the mark and lead the team keep them strong together I'm still not really sure Morgan is the man but one name I would put forward is Huth he has more premier league experience than anyone in the squad what's your thoughts on our leadership values on the pitch ?
