kingfox Posted 10 September 2015 Posted 10 September 2015 All four of my designs. I'm actually thinking of getting one of these made, Barmy Flags will be too expensive I think. Anyone from Union FS know any cheaper options? Think someone helped my cousin HEGGSY out on here with his Cambiasso flag? Nice Dog face on the first badge.
Larry_LCFC Posted 10 September 2015 Posted 10 September 2015 No one was denying it. Plank.Such an angry little man
Soup Posted 10 September 2015 Posted 10 September 2015 Certainly want to. I sit nearer the front than the back of SK1 so I'll consider doing it. When people walk up to the exits when the game's finished and I'm going the opposite way to get the flag back, that's the only issue. Want to do it though. We've been given permission to leave the flags up all the time if we want (after the rugby world cup).I think we'll be halfway along the kop by the Arsenal game so if you want to get one made up we can sort you out a permanent space if you want or like Voll said get it down the front. Ultrasshop are great and a good sized one is about £30 with delivery, but if you order with other people it works our even cheaper.
BigMicky Posted 10 September 2015 Posted 10 September 2015 Such an angry little man Not angry in the slightest or small for that matter. I see being wrong is common place for you on here sweet cheeks x

Thanks for this and it's interesting to know that you've been given permission to have the flags up there all the time after the Rugby World Cup. Being as the permission is granted for the flags to be at the back of SK1 permanently, would the club allow one or a couple of flags at the front if I put them down there do you reckon? Imagine if they started to spread across the front and back of SK1/Kop! Would look quality.
Guest CityFan 06 Posted 10 September 2015 Posted 10 September 2015 I've just emailed the club regarding if I can put a few flags/one at the front of SK1. Hoping I get a good response. I did mention as long as the advertising isn't covered up by it.

Countesthorpe Fox 1884 Posted 11 September 2015 Posted 11 September 2015 There's always hand painting one as well! Some of them up there are class especially ay up me duck
MC Prussian Posted 11 September 2015 Posted 11 September 2015 Just really got a hang of this thread. And albeit now being past the deadline, I think it's a good gesture by the club following the #fearless debacle. I want a bigger flag, one with graphics on it, less text, more clear and concise statements. And please instruct fans how to handle it on a matchday, so that it won't turn almost upside down again like the last time.
Guest CityFan 06 Posted 11 September 2015 Posted 11 September 2015 Nice one, if you don't hear back tomorrow I'll mention it on Sunday when I go down to set ours up. Hi, the club have emailed me back saying there is no place for my flag to be at the front of SK1 but did say you are more than welcome to put your flag up at the back of the block - as long as it has a fire safety certificate. I'm assuming it's something to do with advertising being covered up by the flag as well.

We have all got fire certificates at the back of sk1, only place been asked for ours was spurs, and saints away u18 game last season

They just won't like it as it may cover one of the thousands of K.P logos. Just a power and control thing, I would hang it anyway. I doubt a steward will bother with it. I hang my flag above me and have never been asked to priduce a fire certificate (wouldn't have one to produce if asked).

As baker11 has said, it's an advertisement problem, if you're insistant on taking it to aways then you're best to have a fire safety certificate
steveherbe Posted 11 September 2015 Posted 11 September 2015 Do I have to get my own fire safety certificate for my flag? If so how? Ones from ultra shop in Poland come complete with Certs, which doesn't help you, just saying for reference
Guest CityFan 06 Posted 11 September 2015 Posted 11 September 2015 As baker11 has said, it's an advertisement problem, if you're insistant on taking it to aways then you're best to have a fire safety certificate Yes you're probably right about the advertising issue as right on the front railing of the Kop there is the King Power logo all across the stand which means if I put it the flag there it would cover up the King Power logo/logos.
Soup Posted 11 September 2015 Posted 11 September 2015 Typical bullshit reply mate but expected really. Get your flag made up, bring it down and we'll get it up somewhere.
Spudulike Posted 11 September 2015 Posted 11 September 2015 Have to say, loving the flags Gives the stadium some character and stamps our identity.
Guest CityFan 06 Posted 11 September 2015 Posted 11 September 2015 Have to say, loving the flags Gives the stadium some character and stamps our identity. If it's possible I'd love us to have flags all across the back of the Kop eventually. Like you said it gives the stadium some character and I love seeing them.
Guest CityFan 06 Posted 11 September 2015 Posted 11 September 2015 Typical bullshit reply mate but expected really. Get your flag made up, bring it down and we'll get it up somewhere. What about the Fire Safety Certificate though or does that come when you order on a Flag site?
Soup Posted 11 September 2015 Posted 11 September 2015 Yeah that comes with the flag If you use Ultrasshop, doubt you'll get checked though.
Guest CityFan 06 Posted 11 September 2015 Posted 11 September 2015 Yeah that comes with the flag If you use Ultrasshop, doubt you'll get checked though. Right thanks
Guest CityFan 06 Posted 11 September 2015 Posted 11 September 2015 What do you use to put up your flags at the back of SK1? Is it tape or something else? I've had a look at the three websites BarmyFlags, Ultrashop and FootballFlags and I've got an idea what to create and get but I'll have to see about the cost.
Soup Posted 12 September 2015 Posted 12 September 2015 We've screwed in small hooks as they kept falling down and it was costing a fortune in tape Each flag now has its own space, it was ok to put them up randomly when we only had 9 or 10 but now we've got close to 25 that would be a nightmare.
