Grandad. Posted 30 September 2015 Posted 30 September 2015 Do feel a bit for them, they seemed to be approaching games in a good style and going for the wins. Going to take a lot of their goals away from them now though unless they get Murray and Kermogant firing, which I can't see happening, they seem a side who needs pace up top. Going to be struggle for them now.
Lambert09 Posted 30 September 2015 Posted 30 September 2015 A very similar thing happened to Burnley last season, everyone started dropping like flies. I think it has something to do with the extra intensity of the premier league, obviously combined with bad luck. Seems strange to have happened to two teams with the smallest infrastructures though.
Captain... Posted 30 September 2015 Posted 30 September 2015 1 is unavoidable, 2 is unlucky, but three? I am no medical expert but I would think it would be possible to identify risks and protect them better, or at least with better screening better medical knowledge and staff even educating the players you give yourself every chance of preventing serious injuries. It was Chelsea last season where we took off Huth and King early with knocks, it may have cost us the game but neither ended up with long term injuries as neither tried to "run it off"

Bert Posted 30 September 2015 Posted 30 September 2015 Did you also see how it happened? Could've happened to anyone and there's no way I don't think this one or either of the other two could've been prevented.
The Horse's Mouth Posted 30 September 2015 Posted 30 September 2015 actually think they'll still stay up, the current bottom 3 are ****ing gobshite. Even a strikeforce with Kermo will do better
Hollism Posted 2 October 2015 Posted 2 October 2015 I still think Newcastle will sack McLaren in time to get someone in to save them. Sunderland are as good as confirmed for last place though. I thought before the season started Bournemouth would be fine. They ought to be worried now though.
