Jackster21 Posted 29 September 2015 Posted 29 September 2015 Callum Wilson got his injury after the Stoke game. He is out for 6 months. How do you think Bournmouth can cope without him?
bmt Posted 29 September 2015 Posted 29 September 2015 Got to feel sorry for them, but I think they'll struggle now.
BoyJones Posted 29 September 2015 Posted 29 September 2015 Got to ask why their players are picking up serious injuries more or less all at the same time.
LCFC FOX Posted 29 September 2015 Posted 29 September 2015 Mings, Gradel and Wilson all out for 6+months is like us losing Vardy, Mahrez and Huth for that long.
bmt Posted 29 September 2015 Posted 29 September 2015 Got to ask why their players are picking up serious injuries more or less all at the same time. What was their injury record like last year? If there isn't a long history of it happening it could easily just be bad luck.
Max Power Posted 29 September 2015 Posted 29 September 2015 Got to ask why their players are picking up serious injuries more or less all at the same time. What can you do do avoid knee ligament tears/ruptures? It's just very unlucky
Wymsey Posted 29 September 2015 Posted 29 September 2015 Got to ask why their players are picking up serious injuries more or less all at the same time. Sports Science?
BoyJones Posted 29 September 2015 Posted 29 September 2015 What can you do do avoid knee ligament tears/ruptures? It's just very unlucky Definitely very unlucky, but I would think there sports science team will be asking themselves 1) did they miss anything in the medicals 2) if they could have prepped their players better 3) have we stepped up to Premier league requirements. Just asking.
shen Posted 29 September 2015 Posted 29 September 2015 Cursed luck for Bournemouth. Their two marquee summer signings and their best talent all out for half a season at least. They'll do very well if they're still in touch by the time they return!
KFS Posted 29 September 2015 Posted 29 September 2015 For those stating its unlucky- Wilson was told to run it off on the weekend, which aggravated it even more. Mings went down off the ball against us iirc. Their infrastructure isn't there in comparison to the other teams, which is understandable since they progressed so quickly.
ScouseFox Posted 29 September 2015 Posted 29 September 2015 lmao he was told to "run off" tearing his knee ligaments. relegate them immediately.
The Doctor Posted 29 September 2015 Posted 29 September 2015 Tears ligaments, told to run it off. Are we sure they're not just an inner city PE class?

Didn't Mings go down after a 50/50 with Drinkwater?
KFS Posted 29 September 2015 Posted 29 September 2015 Didn't Mings go down after a 50/50 with Drinkwater? That's right. Was it Gradel? I seem to remember one of them going down unchallenged.
Jackster21 Posted 29 September 2015 Author Posted 29 September 2015 Wilson scores basically all of Bournmouths goals. Without him up front they will be scoring a lot less goals. It's going to be one tough season for Bournmouth.
Tuna Posted 29 September 2015 Posted 29 September 2015 Mings, Gradel and Wilson all out for 6+months is like us losing Vardy, Mahrez and Huth for that long. Hardly Mings hadn't played for Bournemouth before coming on as sub against us, They've just signed Glenn Murray and Pugh is better than Gradel anyway.
Miquel The Work Geordie Posted 29 September 2015 Posted 29 September 2015 Got to ask why their players are picking up serious injuries more or less all at the same time. Aren't they nearly all (if not all) victims of contact injuries though? It's an unlucky coincidence rather than something their medical staff are doing wrong.
Steve_Guppy_Left_Foot Posted 30 September 2015 Posted 30 September 2015 Do think it's just rotten luck for them, certainly compared to a team like Arsenal who seem to have players out for 2 weeks with a muscle injury which somehow seems to turn in to half a season every time.
