Frontrow Posted 27 December 2015 Posted 27 December 2015 I am in my 60s. I have never sat down at away matches apart from when my seat was in the first few rows at Southampton and there was a little boy behind me. If I am unable to stand I will choose a seat at the front. I was at Liverpool yesterday about half way up. There was a Liverpool fan in front of me (with a Leicester fan)who was very abusive to the young men a few rows in front of her who were standing after the stewards had told them to sit down. She went barmy even though they offered to swap seats with her! She then sat down the whole game and continually messaged her Liverpool friends about how she had taken on all the Leicester fans and never even watched the match. Was it her that instigated the stewards action??? After the match I congratulated her on winning the game and asked her why she had not sat in the Pool end where everyone was sitting down instead of having a go at our young fans. I received a torrent of abuse and was told to go away you old hag. I hold my hand up to being old!
ajthefox Posted 27 December 2015 Posted 27 December 2015 S So glad I chose not to go yesterday. Our end looked pathetic yesterday. Looked embarrassing on TV Say what you like, all I could hear on my stream was city fans.
Miquel The Work Geordie Posted 27 December 2015 Posted 27 December 2015 Standing Away From Home sounds like someone's difficult second album
