Standing away from home

Do you ever stop to think about what you're saying before you spew nonsense? Why would it be embarrassing for the top side to have people sitting - or in general tbh?

because sitting is so gay!! Unless your one of them 90 year olds on the front row, typical city away support

If we're top of the English football pyramid and we've got fans sitting away from home then that's pretty embarrassing. No excuses.

Saw a load of old girls standing for Man U at Stoke. If they can so can 95 percent of ours at least.

You are some sort of c@@x

No ****ing excuses ?!?

Some dickhead of ours on row 10 complained to the stewards so we had to sit down or we were out which the copper in the isle confirmed would be the case

As a stander i completely understand that the older lot cannot physically stand for a full 90 minutes, they have as much right as me or you to attend the games, if not more.

I must say though, if you select seats far back, expect to stand. Today a steward and a 50+ bloke was arguing for 10 minutes that people were standing and he wanted to sit. When booking ask the club for nearest row to the front.

Quite a few from the back came down to around the mid row 20's as they couldn't see, I posted my view in the post match thread, this is it, unrestricted £47 seat.

You should've seen my at the back of the lower shed in the FA Cup game a few years back.

Why would you build a stand in such a way that the back 3 or 4 rows cant see anything?

Cant they just extend the awayend laterally further across the stand and close the seats that cant see anything?

Problem solved, people can stand. Or not?

50+, and wants to sit? I'm well past that, and sitting is - and never will be - an option. When I cant stand in SK1, I'll stop going. FFS, Ibuprofen works, take some!!

Was sat second row back yesterday and after the announcements the stewards wouldn't stop asking us to sit down. Eventually we just gave in, don't think people wanted to be chucked out after paying those prices and the stewards were being pretty relentless to the point where we were missing the game!

Normally always stand at away games though, has never been a problem before but Liverpool seemed obsessed with it!

The upper tier at Villa away in the cup last season was the same tbf

Why are people moaning about views. You know what to expect when we visit older grounds, whether it be Anfield, Goodison Park, Hillsborough... If you think £40 or whatever the price doesn't justify the view then don't go.

It was. Are away ends have been woeful this season.

I'd disagree with that. Swansea was poor also but other than that we've been steady enough on the road.

Every away end ive been in this season has not been average imo. We have had the best premier league season in our history and still we are silent for at least 30 minutes of the 90 every game.

Did seem a bit odd. The stadium announcer emphasizing that there were complaints from your own fans, getting the police involved etc. Conspiracy to shut us up if you ask me.

Lights a candle.

Conspiracy to get fans to sit more like, no better way than to make stuff up like that.

The amount of effort some clubs put in to get fans to sit is astonishing.

Some fans will stay standing and ignore it, some fans (Like ours) will relent and sit down.

Our away ends this season have been really poor. Too many there for the 'banter' and not enough to actually support the team. Plus the fact that the ONLY song people sing is Everywhere we fvcking go which is the worst football song in circulation at the moment!
