Guest Posted 11 November 2015 Posted 11 November 2015 Just go old school like when it was standing at Filbo. I think they call that indecent exposure these days
bluefox88 Posted 11 November 2015 Posted 11 November 2015 They've paid their money, it's up to them what they do with those 90 minutes. Before end of game leavers have been debated a lot on here and although I will never understand it, some of those who do, arguably may have valid reasons. Jurgen Klopp's comments at the weekend about it though have caused me to post about something slightly different and that is those who are up and down all game. At the Crystal Palace fixture one guy and his two kids (aged about 7 &10) who were sitting near me were up after 15 minutes. They came back 10 minutes later with most of the pre-match snack bar leftovers. During what is the most exciting period in a long time I just don't get this. I'm trying to bring up my 9 year old as a decent, well balanced citizen for the future by teaching him passion for LCFC, hatred of Forest and deluded Sunderland fans, and trying to make sure he never marries anyone from Stoke. I am also trying to make him sit/stand in the same bloody place for 2 sets of approximately 45 minutes, unless he has an uncontrollable urge for a shit/piss, or is ill. There of course will be the odd exception, but surely go to the toilet just before the game and if you don't like queuing for food pre-match or at half time, bring some snacks with you and pay a third of the price. I've been radicalised from a young age by football loving fundamentalists and maybe football is too important to me, but there seems to be hundreds of people who miss so much of the game. Before I seek professional help for my intolerance I just wondered if anyone could explain why so many people do this regularly.

Doesn't bother me really cus (a) I sit near the middle, and (b) when my mates lad on the row in front goes early he often brings me back something to eat. And to be honest if I got up the old b*stard at the end of the row would give me a really hard time for having to take his blanket off and stand up.

Should do what they do at a variety of other sports, if you leave in play you have to wait for a break in play to return to your seats

jammie82uk Posted 11 November 2015 Posted 11 November 2015 They've paid their money, it's up to them what they do with those 90 minutes. This is true but when its intrusive to others who have also paid thier money then surely they are entitled to an opinion about it
ian1984summer Posted 11 November 2015 Posted 11 November 2015 i can't make every game due to work but get down when I can. however some times when I go I still have to be on call to answer queries from staff at my work so occasionally have to leave my seat to answer a call (don't think asking the people around me to keep it down would be a good idea) does this make me plastic?

Plastic? No. Annoying? Yes. Workaholic? Definately.
ian1984summer Posted 11 November 2015 Posted 11 November 2015 Plastic? No. Annoying? Yes. Workaholic? Definately. believe me it annoys me even more. especially when down the concourse and hear the roar of 29,000 fans when we score.
Vicki Vixen Posted 11 November 2015 Posted 11 November 2015 Thanks for starting this thread, because I fooking hate people doing this, especially when they stop for a chat with everyone as they make their way to the aisle, taking orders for overpriced pies and coffee that's either lukewarm or way beyond boiling point but never a normal temperature, like some kind of hero waiter for the starving masses. Pricks.

Livid Posted 11 November 2015 Posted 11 November 2015 Sk1, row r, seat 179 The guy has literally missed ever goal this season. I moved from around there, I have a very good idea who you are talking about, miss around 20-25 minutes each game, arrive late, leave early at HT, late back after HT.
