It's a simple song, we all know the tune.

I don't see why it can't feature on Saturday and in the build up to Arsenal. There's other clubs affected by this (Sheff United have a similar issue), and if it gets an airing on MOTD it might catch on. It won't change the date of the Arsenal fixture, but it might make them think twice before they take the piss again.

Behave.............. the riches Sky bring to the BPL. Surely they outweigh a little inconvenience?

A little inconvenience?

Clearly you have not got train tickets booked to Arsenal. People including myself who can just about scrape the money together to go and support Leicester every week and being mugged off by a massive company like sky. Yes we know tv changes happen but this should of been announced in December.

Sky are a big factor in the premier league being as good as it is.

Yeah, you see a decent share of those riches do you? Like lower ticket prices, subsidised transport costs to away games etc?

Thought not.

This thread will be dominated by the considerable number who have been inconvenienced by Sky's stance, and those who haven't this time around (or have been unable to secure tickets). Probably best to close it now.

The people that say its just a small inconviecne either do not attend or have enough income to get mugged off without complaining.

I work stupid hours and still £40-£50 is huge to me, i can see it costing more than that to sort all this out. Taxi is £30 rather than £5.90 train before we begin.

I fully appreciate that frustration and I truly hope you get compensated for the wrong doing. Hating sky as a whole for a fixture change and associated problems for you poor people affected I do not get. E-mail Sky , the Club, East Midland Trains I'm sure someone will come through fr you!

Silly hating Sky threads will do fck all.

Whether it's a little inconvenience or not the decision is disgraceful. To change the kick-off time to a much less sociable one when people have already bought match tickets and non-refundable train tickets, possibly making it impossible to attend the match and lose fairly big money in the process when this decision could've been made six weeks ago to give fans the choice and the option to work out whether it was logistical to go is arrogant and unnecessarily problematic.

Whatever people's views of Sky this is poor form and could've been avoided.

No point, without sky's tv money most clubs would be bust. It's true I doubt they would be bothered even if it did get an airing on Saturday.

Corky read my follow up post.

This incident is plain wrong and I fully understand the obvious frustration.

However, hate Sky and sing songs...no!

Personally I don't like the idea of the 5-minute concourse thing. I'm going there to support my team and I don't want that to be compromised at all by a protest.

I think the way to do this is by contacting the club, even contacting papers and MPs, and putting pressure on the Premier League to demand TV fixture changes are made at a certain time in advance.

There's a role for Barclays to play in this as well, pumping millions into the league and putting all this advertising everywhere about how much they care about fans. Of course it's bollocks, but it would be interesting to call their bluff and see if they pretend to care.

It is difficult to understand why switches cannot be announced earlier seeing as BT, Sky etc will have planned these live games days or weeks ago.......you would not get concerts, theatre etc being moved at all and these days football is expensive.

Sad state of affairs that the people that make the game great get forgotten .......not sure why fellow fans would not sympathise for those that do follow the team away!!!

Define good.

English football was good before.

It really is like people don't realise that there was over 100 years of football league history before Sky television.

Worth it for who?

Wasn't football better when people could watch great players live at 3pm every week for about a fiver?

How have these riches benefited us, the fans?

How are some people actually sticking up for Sky???

Guess you're all happy you can stay at home in front of the TV watching 'Super Sunday' from 12 to 6.

Football was better before Sky - cheaper tickets, 3pm saturday every week, not all about money as well as hundreds of other reasons!

English football fans must be the only people in the world who will defend the people who fvck them over above themselves.

Fvck Sky. Wish they'd never bothered.
