ceredigion Posted 6 February 2016 Posted 6 February 2016 Younger posters may not remember, but the club regularly did this sort of thing during the ''golden era'' of Jimmy Bloomfield. We finished as high as 9th in the First Division once if I recall correctly.
costonfox Posted 6 February 2016 Posted 6 February 2016 Words could never express how I feel, just look at me im 58 and been waiting for this all my life joy joy joy
ajthefox Posted 6 February 2016 Posted 6 February 2016 Anyone else starting to feel they would be gutted if we didn't win the league now? Sounds ridiculous but I can't help it Yeah, totally agree. I keep giving myself shivers thinking about all this. Unbelievable.
bovril Posted 6 February 2016 Posted 6 February 2016 Yeah, totally agree. I keep giving myself shivers thinking about all this. Unbelievable. I refuse to even contemplate it until we're lifting the trophy.
foxychik Posted 6 February 2016 Posted 6 February 2016 Just hit me .... watching BBC news 5 points clear, cue big grin and weepy eyes, don't know if I can get through MOTD
Treacle Fox Posted 6 February 2016 Posted 6 February 2016 Dont feel any shame brothers and sisters! Chelsea, Man Utd, Spurs, Arsenal fans (not so much Man City but they've bought it) haven't been through the peaks and troughs that we've been through over the years. They're used to rocking up every Saturday to see relative success for as long as they can remember. Weep, laugh, savour every minute. This is our time and it's off the richter scale!!!!!!!!
theessexfox Posted 6 February 2016 Posted 6 February 2016 Nah I haven't really showed emotion I can barely speak anyway, can't really comprehend what's happening.
4everfox Posted 6 February 2016 Posted 6 February 2016 Tears are inevitable this season. We win the league and I cry like a little girl, we don't win the league and I cry like a little girl.
Guy Posted 7 February 2016 Posted 7 February 2016 Everyone is talking about it basically - even all the blokes in the changing rooms at the gym I was at today in Plymouth! I'd imagine it's the same up and down the entire football nation country that is England! Massive pride :-)
SecretPro Posted 7 February 2016 Posted 7 February 2016 If we beat Arsenal next week I will definitely cry. I will cry even more tears of joy if Man City draw with or beat Spurs.
