Ric Flair Posted 19 September 2005 Posted 19 September 2005 Did anyone join in the massive 'Bernie start the wave' chant at half-time down in the concourse. There must have been about 200 City fans singing and Bern was going crazy, all the stewards were pissing themselves. It was great to see him deteriorate throughout the day and on the train home he was being a right menace with that horn.
Solihullfox Posted 19 September 2005 Posted 19 September 2005 I visited one of the loo's about 30 minutes before kick off and was quietly going about my business at the usual standing facilities when I heard from the dunny (yes the door was shut) the dulcet tones of the man himself. " Why do I support Leicester ?" being sung loudly with notes arranged in no particular order. This went on for a few seconds to be followed by " Q.P.R., Q.P.R." etc etc. - suffice to say a few odd looks from various people were being thrown towards the offending noise.

He was still going on about QPR on the train back to Leicester. Seemed a bit obsessed by Southampton as well.

Who needs entertaining football when you've got Bernie.

Guest Posted 19 September 2005 Posted 19 September 2005 Me and Lisa were right beside him. Indeed. I never thought I could hold my breath for any length of time, but I managed it.
Ric Flair Posted 19 September 2005 Author Posted 19 September 2005 I had the pleasure of a pat on the back from him earlier in the day with those horrible little hands of his.
Guest Posted 19 September 2005 Posted 19 September 2005 I had the pleasure of a pat on the back from him earlier in the day with those horrible little hands of his. He insisted on shaking Mr Lisa's hand, which pissed Mr L off very much.

Fez of Mahrez Posted 19 September 2005 Posted 19 September 2005 Favourite Bernie quote - upon coming out of the toilets (at Wigan last season, I think) - "I was talent scouting" Edited to add - that makes no sense. It was the womens toilets.

Katy Posted 20 September 2005 Posted 20 September 2005 BERNIE IS A LEGEND seen him at Hull aswell lives near me. no one on here seen him cos no one goes! What does that mean exactly?
Guest Posted 20 September 2005 Posted 20 September 2005 What does that mean exactly? We're all figments of someone's imagination, therefore, we don't actually exist? In which case, why the feck am I at work? You could have imagined me as a millionnaire enjoying the lifestyle!
