I tried hard to get to Leicester, either last weekend, and for 15-17th May, just to celebrate.

Unfortunately couldnt get a cheap flight at any time...

So for you lucky lads n lasses , how has your week been, in the city, around the shire,

work, pubs...give me a little taste of what I have missed. It hurts I tell you!!!

Mental! Words can't explain the emotion of it all!

Edit: I spend a lot of time around farmers, who have no real interest in football (well the ones i deal with) and everyone of them wanted to talk about it!

This. It's hard to put into words but the whole city has had a massive lift, even those that don't usually care about football. The initial partying was crazy but to be expected but even now everyone just seems happier

Seeing the players flags up on lampposts and every shop window having blue and white in it, it's just brilliant. Can't wait for the parade

Whats work, or even college or uni been like..

The atmosphere in the pubs, has it continued or returning to some normality..

I think it has died down again but will ramp up big time this weekend and into Monday. The parade day will just be mental lol

I was in more of less the same position as you: just couldn't afford it so watched it on TV.

Of all the pictures and videos that people have posted, this is the one that made me feel like I was there:

Brilliantly done.

Languedocfox. Yes I expected a few of us, that depended on Various Sports tv.

Thank god I get Sky and other channels.

But I must say, missing the party hurt deep down.since febuary I thought I could

at least get home for the bash, but sadly not to be.Too expensive flights, at such

short notice.wanted to go with my son...oh well. No complaints, just how the dice fell.

Great video...put it up on my tv, with surround..bloody marvellous.

I have told the wife, if I win something on the Lotto, this wednesday, I am off for

3 days. Cant go longer Friday we fly to Sardinia.

The 16th , I hope the city has one big unforgettable, spetacular bash.

Feel for those who couldn't be here, but the buzz will still be here in a week, a month, a year...

It was unreal though, the biggest party in Leicester since VE day, 70 years ago.

The Saturday night in town was one of the best, there was thousands upon thousands of Italian's and football fans from around the country here to party, there was no trouble, it was so happy the atmosphere was so joyous! I've seen older foxes fans who say they don't go into town because they feel too old but on that night they said they loved it because everyone was there for 1 reason and it felt amazing :)

And work? I got a standing ovation when I entered after the game we actually won it lol

Unbelivable

Marvellous, happy to hear that all generations, and the meltingpot of Leicester could enjoy

And share together these special off the cuff celebrations.

The you tube collections and the video Languedocfox sent, made the absence tollerable.

Feb-2017 Baby boom in Leicestershire, all with crazy names.Or too many lads too wacked

to be even bothered...Might see an old age pensioners baby boom...babies popping out

thinking god mam n dad have more winkles than me.... :)
