CosbehFox Posted 19 May 2016 Posted 19 May 2016 Can't believe people think he's taken command of his box, he barely moves. Stick a player on him at a corner and he's taken out of the game. Thank christ we have two people who love heading at CB. Yep the difference this season is that Huth is happy to mop up that area. They have an understanding rather than confusion.
LAprice_ Posted 19 May 2016 Posted 19 May 2016 There's been a noticeable improvement to his game ever since we signed Mark Schwarzer.
filbertway Posted 19 May 2016 Posted 19 May 2016 None of the other keepers mentioned i.e. loris, de gea etc. could even kick the ball out that long and consistently as kasper does. I've noticed even the moving ball kasper rarely gets it wrong, the others i've seen them kicking very badly. Kicking out at goal kicks is a lost art nowadays anyway. with teams trying to keep possession by distributing short passes to the full backs constantly, rather than playing long direct balls over the top. The rare times opposition teams play long goal kicks recently has mostly been those teams that have thought about the way we play and decided it's best to play direct football too, to avoid our press. Noticed Klopp was moaning yesterday about Sevilla playing long balls to avoid their high pressing too.... I say good on Sevilla - it certainly worked and none of their fans are moaning De Gea and Lloris are both known for having very good distribution. Pretty sure both could drop a ball on a 50p over 50/60 yards.

AKCJ Posted 19 May 2016 Posted 19 May 2016 do they know what a 50p piece is? Given that they both earn over 100 thousand of them a week, I imagine that they do.
AyewJoking Posted 19 May 2016 Posted 19 May 2016 Given that they both earn over 100 thousand of them a week, I imagine that they do. missed it do they even use cash and if they do, do they expect change?
Xen Posted 19 May 2016 Posted 19 May 2016 One of the best shot stoppers in the league, especially when it comes to (potential) 1v1 situations or quick-reaction saves. Probably the most attack-minded keeper in the league too, as bizarre as that concept is. Sure, his distribution isn't always on point (mostly because of our whole-team approach of greater risk yields greater rewards), but the amount of times he has sparked a counter attack from a defensive set piece is mightily impressive. Vardys record goal against United springs to mind.
easilee Posted 19 May 2016 Posted 19 May 2016 A little hard to tell. The rest of the team has done such a good job of stopping a lot of shots and holding up play, I don't think he's been tested as much as in previous seasons. Excellent shot stopper, hasn't flapped as much as before at corners [though he still has a few times]. Agree with the kicking being purposeful. Hoofs it right down the wing in their half, invariably the opposition will stick it in touch with Vardy bombing after it. Their throw-in, deep in their half which is the way we like to play.
