Matt Posted 21 September 2005 Share Posted 21 September 2005 So one game is going to raise our ability? what if we were thrashed 4-0 ? I thought everyone would want to get as far as possible. EXACTLY! When everyone says what team do you want in the cup next alot of people go for a premiership or a big team, why? Fair enough it brings money in, its a big team which means there's "glamour", and if you win great you we're the underdog and you beat the bigger opposition e.t.c, but surly if you play a lower league club you have more chance of winning, obviously there is the risk of losing to lower oppostion, but at the same time theres more chance of beating the lower opposition, and yeah I have had the response of "anyone can win in the cup" they can but how many times do you see Chelsea losing to someone like Huddersfield in the cup final? The further you go in the cup = More money for winning each tie!
