Best home atmosphere's in the Premier League

He was saying those areas are consistent. That's true.

Voll I am not detracting from efforts and anything to improve the atmosphere I applaud! There just seems to be a bit of elitism which I feel is not justified or helpful. Too much look at me rather than acknowledging the overall atmosphere. I'm in SK3 and genuinely can't make out what's being sung in SK1 and that's not a criticism it's testimony to the noise in that area too.

No need for look at me or its down to us because I could say it's more down to the success of the team and the clappers than a few hundred and that's as wrong as saying it's just down to UFS and L1 it's down to all the factors and a lot of fans in a lot of areas!

You take away L1 and SK1 you take away a good proportion of the noise, lets be honest here. It's not an elitist mentality really, just a simple observation.

Where is there an 'elitist mentality' though? Union FS even put out a thank you to the rest of the ground saying they couldn't have done it without them. I think you're looking for an issue that's not there.

Yes but some prem grounds dont even have one sing song section let alone two.

We have by far the best atmosphere in the league. I went to sunderland and spurs away last season and both were like libraries.

Spurs were OK in the cup I thought.

Elitist is probably the wrong choice of words and you will never hear me say those sections don't make great noise.

I just think a lot more of the stadium is involved than what is given credit for sometimes.

Guys and @@Bluetintedspecs, I didn't want this to turn into an argument or a discussion about an 'elitist' attitude. All I was attempting to put across in the OP was that, given the knowledge of us having two consistent singing sections, it helps to create our unique atmosphere given no other clubs have two, established singing areas.

Like UFS, without the rest of the stadium joining in, the ground wouldn't be as loud, not denying that. The whole crowd in my view at the KP have been particularly excellent and a key aspect in our atmosphere. It's a team effort, both on the pitch and in the stands. Wasn't meaning to give the wrong impression  :)

Most of last season was epic. Saying that, winning nearly every week and going on to do the absolute unthinkable helped. The test I think is when things settle down. I hope I'm proved wrong but I don't think the 'whole ground' atmosphere will last.

Why are people so obsessed with what other fans of clubs do or how loud they are?

Personally I couldn't give a rats arse about any of them, I'm there to support our team and will do all through the match.

I don't go to listen to the home support, then rate them against other sides we have been too.

As such I couldn't tell you which of the 19 away grounds I went too last season were poor or good. I do remember the Arsenal doing their lap of honour with their fans and the Man City fans shaking our hands, other than that it's all a blur!

Ha ha ha I am also a guy and my intention was not the loan voice scenario Leicfox06. I know the point you were making and mine was not an anti to atmospheres from certain sections it was as Soup Nazi has pointed out lets not forget the other phenomenal factors played a massive part too as did lots of areas joining in and the clappers, just the truth and it was an all round brilliant atmosphere and season!

Yep, fair enough. You're spot on in the post, I was just concerned you or others may of misinterpretred my point. Like you said the atmosphere is a whole contribution.

People always say Palace, but I (used to) go to Selhurst a lot when they were in the Championship and the place is a complete dive other than that small holmesdale corner. Maybe it's a lot better in the PL I dunno.

Some people take an interest in the atmosphere though as much as the game itself. So it's natural for those people to take an interest in how we compare to other teams. You wouldn't scoff at someone who was bothered about how our on pitch performance compared with that of another team, so why do it to someone who goes to the football for different reasons to you?

I think we've achieved creating an atmosphere as we know, but the next step for me is to build more character into and around the KP.
