Will be tough to compete with them but he looks worth it I suppose it all depends if Bellerin is staying at Arsenal or maybe going to Barcelona. Hopefully it's a choice of playing for Leicester or being Bellerin's back up.

Foxymcoxy Posted 21 July 2016 Author Posted 21 July 2016 The initial link says Arsenal already had a bid turned down. Obviously they might increase their offer, but they might not. We also might not bid if the asking price is a lot. I do think he'd be good though.

Just had a look on the Arsenal forum, they seem to think Bellerin is staying so this guy would be back up which probably puts us in the box seat? http://arsenal-mania.com/forum/threads/bruno-peres.29381/

This whole Ranieri or Walsh thing is bloody stupid now the club would have a meeting with all its officials to decide whether to make a bid or not. do you think Walshy just walks into Rudkin's office one day like "ay rudders put a bid in for Peres mate he seems like a decent player"
Livid Posted 21 July 2016 Posted 21 July 2016 Just as well he's quick, if he kept bombing forward like in the video I've just watched, he'd have to be lightening quick to get back!! Would be very impressed if we got him, although I think it would signify a change in our approach to games.

By the way, what accent is that you're giving Steve Walsh?
tyfox Posted 21 July 2016 Posted 21 July 2016 This lad looks very good and a think he would be good on left wing cutting inside

ST20 Posted 21 July 2016 Posted 21 July 2016 Wouldn't make any sense to pay him left wing though. Fuchs can play left wing.

tyfox Posted 21 July 2016 Posted 21 July 2016 Since he's not a defensive type of player and we like our full backs to defend I think he will be used on the wing and as CR likes the wingers to cut inside I think he may be used on the left. Just an opinion mind
tyfox Posted 21 July 2016 Posted 21 July 2016 Not everyone's opinions do but like I say it's just my opinion. If not the left he may go on the right as cover for riyad. I just don't see him being used as a right back cuz he would leave us so open to the counter

tyfox Posted 21 July 2016 Posted 21 July 2016 True. Like I say it's just an opinion I'm not saying that's where he will definitely play I'm just saying I would like to see it tried maybe in a friendly if we can sign him in time.
tyfox Posted 21 July 2016 Posted 21 July 2016 It's not like he hasn't played there before so it's not exactly out of position. He is usually played as a wing back but has played right and left wing before
Gerard Posted 21 July 2016 Posted 21 July 2016 Him signing would be good news for Amartey. I believe Amartey's best position would be to sit in front of the back four and make it a back three when the full backs attack. He is athletic, tall, strong and quick enough to fill that Eric Dier type role, whether he's good enough though is another question.
