Tuna Posted 28 July 2016 Posted 28 July 2016 I'd like to see Hull fall back through the leagues. Don't like em. Lets not forget who was responsible for their rise from League 2 to the Championship. The same man resposible for our fall through the leagues. I don't like the fact they took Pearson away. I didn't like Phil Brown. This Hull tigers debacle pissed me off. It's in the middle of nowhere, they like Rugby more and it probably smells of fish.

We see bigger stadia and bigger crowds which can only be a pull and good thing. So you're saying that what is wrong with modern football is my desire to see all the bigger teams ,and with it their stadiums, fighting it out in the biggest league? I'd have Leeds, Wednesday, Newcastle and Villa over Dull, B-mouth, Burnley and Watford any day of the week. Bare with while I find you some ladders to get you off your self-created, imaginary high-horse. Nonsense, the Premier League has never been more attractive to the average spectator. The new TV deal backs up that claim, the competition to get the Premier League on a screen is massive as the likes of Sky and BT know the draw it has on the general public, and we're not just talking about the UK here. The league is more competitive then ever as backed up by the fact that we have just won the league and clubs such as Watford can afford to turn down 30 million as well as compete financially with a high percentage of top flight sides. The Premier League is arguably in the healthiest position it has ever been in and the so called "big clubs" of Newcastle and Aston Villa finished lower then the Watford's and Bournemouth's you seem so keen to see replaced by the likes of Leeds United, who as a club finished in the lower mid table of the second tier. If they deserved to be in the Premier League they would be and the same will happen next season whether you want it or not. The point I'm trying to make here is that the clubs you desire to see play in the top flight don't deserve to be there because they aren't good enough, Hull and Bournemouth etc are. On your logic you would rather have seen Manchester City win the title last season followed by the same repetitive top six for the next thirty years yes? Stop throwing your toys out of the pram because I have disagreed with you, give me a Bournemouth, Burton, Watford or Crystal Palace over a Liverpool, Newcastle, Aston Villa or Leeds United any day. We are long overdue a power shift, hopefully another underdog does a Leicester next season!
promised land Posted 28 July 2016 Posted 28 July 2016 Burton in the Premier league would be a fairy tale, but I think they will have enough on their plate staying in the Championship next season. Hope they do the double over Derby though.

Just imagine the Derby and Forest fans when they see Leicester being crowned as champions of Europe and Burton romping the Championship, meaning that the two of us will be the sole representatives of the East Midlands in the Premier League whilst they prop up the Championship table. Carlsberg don't do dreams but if they did...

MPH Posted 28 July 2016 Posted 28 July 2016 Hull City fans are annoying Their owners are crap, Horrible City But that doesnt make any of whats happening right now anything other than just plain wrong nor does it justify it happening to the people of Hull. Ave a word, some of you.
LCFC FOX Posted 28 July 2016 Posted 28 July 2016 remember the little rivalry we formed when they hated us and Pearson for rejoining us...
doverfox Posted 28 July 2016 Posted 28 July 2016 Cant lie don't care what happens to other clubs just the city. But we should be thankful but for the grace of god go us.

I never mentioned I wanted the same top six or whatever so stop making me out to be something im not please... 'On my logic'....the logic that I stated I was going to cheer on a few teams. Now stop trying to take that mythical high ground and accept some people have differing opinions and certainly don't automatically presume things either!
