Stuff like this amaze me,

first people are talking about dropping Morgan,and now who should replace him as captain,

yet 5 months ago the talk was that if he was English and not played for Jamaica then he would surely have got an England call up,

hes only aged 5 months older for fook sake,

carnt we talk about the fact the blokes captained us to 3 champs league victories and in doing so created history rather than all this persimism,

its gettin really boring,

its like because he's not been dropped let's talk about who would replace him,

its madness

The op says looking ahead and there is no mention of replacing Wes with someone else, just what happens after. Nothing wrong with a little discussion about next club captain.

 

Drinky by a mile for me. Kasper is a born leader and will always be there to help but I would love to see Drinky with it as I feel he has well and truly earnt it and as others have said, it might help keep him here.

Drinky gets it for me with Kasper as vice.

Some of the suggestions get me

Fuchs and Huth have no more time in them than Morgan. Simpson most want him replaced as with Huth and Morgan.

 

Vardy let's be honest once his pace has gone won't be first choice. Also I don't think he would be the right person. As others have said if it is not Drinky I don't think our next captain is at the club atm.

 

Also the Kingy shout is he can't hold his place down now and we all want a better CM. Other than that the Birch has put a few years in and knows the game so would be a shout.

Yeah I would have to say Drinkwater. Not convinced about having a keeper as captain. It would make no difference to Kasper being captain or not he will still act like one. It may help us keep hold of Drinkwater, CM is a great place to have a captain. He is definitely captain material and I think he's the type that would revel in it. No contest for me

Why think ahead,lets deal with here and now,

the op suggest that Wes might be to old next season,I agree there's nothing wrong with a discussion,but let's be right,

This is only being discussed on the back of recent results,I didn't see any threads at the back end of last season talking about future captains
