I've tried to refrain from adding to the deserved angry rants and calls for the managers head or any of our star players. I'm really trying hard to look for positives and just maybe there is some hope on the horizon in the form of divine intervention (Buddhist monks please come back & bring the whole freakin monestary!) what we had last year was pure chemistry, genie in a bottle, the Midas touch call it what you want. Its clear to see whatever it was made us FEARLESS Above all the monikers this was one that gave us our identity and our psychological edge over are opponents. Even if we went a goal or two down there was always a belief we will hit back with a vengeance! Home or away teams dreaded wanting to play us because we were intense, determined, tough, unrelenting and frightening. So far this season we have looked lost, fragile, slow, cumbersome & frustrated. Watching ranieri's body language said it all. He may not be saying it in the press interviews but he's got the beginnings of a crisis on his hands. Fuchs was getting beaten & humiliated very lucky not to be sent off. Morgan just seems to wait an eternity for the ball to bounce for him and then gets caught in a losing foot race to rescue himself. Huth is slow, exposed & needs help Simpson works hard as always but lacks any kind of decent delivery to our paper thin midfield/attack. drinkwater is looking like a part of him dies with every one of these poor performances. At this rate he will be a broken man by next spring. I'll stop there because I truelly believe if we strengthen from the back the rest will follow. If there ever was a time for soul searching LCFC it is now or never. Please come together the fans & players & get our mojo back (before we sleep walk back into the championship) I beg you!
SemperEadem Posted 20 November 2016 Posted 20 November 2016 Fearless was a daft marketing gimicy campaign that Puma thought up. It is not ours as other teams with a Puma manufactured kit also had it forced on them.

A confident team tries to make cutting, difficult passes, feeling sure that they will get through and this passes on that players make the runs to get onto the passes, confident that their team mates will attempt them. A confident defender stays on his feet instead of lunging in. A confident midfielder takes on defenders instead of playing the short ball or passing back. One good result, preferably against a big team, could see us turn the corner, but it's very difficult to build confidence. It can become a downward spiral so very easily and we need to break out of it soon, otherwise it will be a grim season.

Leicester City play Championship League football...a pretty good Championship League team too; until they have a crisis of confidence and can't play Championship football anymore. Then they find a good manager (Nigel Pearson) who restores their faith in playing football and they win the League and get promoted... Leicester City now play Premier League football...a pretty good Premier League team too; until they have a crisis of confidence and can't play Premier League football anymore. Then they find (another) good manager (Claudio Ranieri) who restores their faith in playing football and they win the Premier League! Leicester City are now Premier League Champions...a pretty good Champion team too they won by 10 points; until they have a crisis of confidence and can't play Premier League football anymore. Then they find (another) good manager.....
Wymsey Posted 20 November 2016 Posted 20 November 2016 Careless, I'd say. We seem to have lost the #Fearless factor in our play since the Man Utd game imo.
