davieG Posted 29 September 2005 Posted 29 September 2005 I'm concerned about the way CL is treating different players, anyone who thinks his Heart's signings get preferential treatment need to think again - unless of course the rumours re Maybury and Sunderland were true and CL has the hump with him. How else can one explain his public condemnation of Maybury for what was a rash, out of character rush of blood to the head tackle and Tiatto's outrageous ongoing, match after match career threatening tackles and he a captain no less. If we had had the same referee for Brighton as we had for QPR then Tiatto would quite rightly have been dismissed. So where is CL’s public condemnation of Tiatto, why hasn't he stripped him of the captaincy, where's the fines. Let's have equal treatment CL bearing in mind also, as I've already stated that Tiatto is a habitually bad tackler and Maybury's was a relative one off. I for one am embarrassed to be supporting a team that tolerates players like that, even allowing his gung ho type of enthusiasm in their team never mind as captain. Tiatto OUT.

I'll tell you why! because Leicester didn't lose on tuesday and Levein got his all important clean sheet, which is all he seems to care about.
TornadoShaunUK Posted 29 September 2005 Posted 29 September 2005 Tiatto out??!!?? I thought he was one of our better players on Tuesday.. thats the kind of commitment we need from people on the pitch...
davieG Posted 29 September 2005 Author Posted 29 September 2005 Tiatto out??!!?? I thought he was one of our better players on Tuesday.. thats the kind of commitment we need from people on the pitch... Well he was damn lucky to be on the pitch after two outrageous tackles, what good would he have been in the changing room? It's not exactly a one ofF situation is it!!!!!
BartonFox Posted 29 September 2005 Posted 29 September 2005 Tiatto is utter shite and should have been kicked out in the summer. He is a headless chicken and that is doing a dis-service to chickens who are without heads.
Jimmy Posted 29 September 2005 Posted 29 September 2005 i'd agree with bringing wilcox in, though i would prefere hammil got a run of games as we know what wilcox is capible of (even if he's yet to produce it for us), as he would provide more width down the left. we also need genuin competition for momo down the right as hughes isnt a winger and would be far more effective in a more central role!
Thracian Posted 29 September 2005 Posted 29 September 2005 Hammill played for the Reserves and got quite involved, switching flanks and making himself a nuisance. Without doubt he is another who, like Sheehan, can strike a dead ball far better than anyone else I've seen in the first team (other than Sheehan). He hits em with flight, bend and pace and this is unquestionably one of his major strengths. Sadly although quite tricky last night and certainly had one decent shot, he never really had the pace, strength or cunning to actually leave his full-back for dead I'd have marked him about 6.5 and in his previous reserves appearance he would have rated less cos I hardly noticed him. He does have the ability to occasionally produce something but not often enough to command a regular first team spot, or to have a long term future at the club in my view. Too lightweight as a person and a player from what I've seen so far. Hope I'm wrong, of course, but don't think I am. Now West Ham's Ishmal Walsh...

I agree, but i'd much rather see him play on the wing than a central midfielder each game. I reckon his best bet is to come on as a sub with 15 mins to go and perhaps beat a few players and get some crosses in or score the odd free-kick.

The People's Hero Posted 29 September 2005 Posted 29 September 2005 Wilcox is fu cked now we've brought in Smith!

The People's Hero Posted 29 September 2005 Posted 29 September 2005 Wilcox will be going full out to crock him in training. He'll have to pretend to be converting to a right back then BAM. Smith's ligaments gone again. Wilco' emerges victorious.
C-man Posted 29 September 2005 Posted 29 September 2005 I'd leave Tiatto and Wilcox out personally. Yes Tiatto is relatively useless, but i havent seen anything from Mr WIlcox that suggests he's any better. Why oh why did we sell Stewart?

Perhaps CL expects more of Maybury (particularly in such tough games as the one against QPR) and was very disappointed at the time he said that...
