Morgan far worse today. That second goal was terrible, almost as bad as the first.however the pole should of been released in the summer. Completely finished.

Pretty solid and handled Lukaku well until one bad moment for their first. Can't judge the second, Wes didn't wanna put it out because we were chasing the game, always quite likely at that stage. Standard overreaction, though our defence as a team has been worrying this season.

Agree, thought both centre backs handled Lukaku really well in fairness, until of course they scored both goals.

The issue here is not whether or not Wasilewski had a semi-decent game today.

The issue is that we went into a season (with champions league games) with our evident top 3 CBs being Morgan, Huth and Wasilewski. I'm not convinced that any of those 3 is good enough, and you can forget last season as it is a completely different situation without Kante.

We're constantly being linked with forwards and wingers despite it being blindingly obvious to everyone here that CB is the position most in need of improvement. How the club haven't seen that is amazing.

We have to have at least one centre back who can pass the ball.

Its not good enough just tossing the ball forwards, especially now that our pressing has gone to pot so we can't win the ball back quickly again.

Say what you like about Wasyl but he does at least try to pass the ball through to the midfield. On today's performance and given my desire to have people capable of at least attempting to retain possession in the team he'd be above Morgan in the pecking order for me at the moment.

Huth and Morgan both big culprits for this, all they ever seem to do is hoof it up the pitch

I said this in the Pre match and I couldn't believe people were putting Wasilewski in their starting 11.

Why sign Benny and Hernandez if you're gonna play a 36 year ticking time bomb who's clearly finished at this level?

As if Wasyl was the problem in that match. It was Wasyl's second appearance in Premier League this season and we already managed to lose 9 matches and draw 5, winning only four. We haven't have a clean sheet in, like, ages.  We were destroyed multiple times this season, when Wasyl was sitting on the stands.

My point is our defence is shite, with Wasyl, or without him. He is not the problem here, so stop bashing him. Of course that a rusty thirty six years old dude, even as goddamn fit as Wasyl, is not going to give the best performance in his life. Sure. But why harping over Wasyl being in the lineup, when, for example, Morgan was crappier than him? When our midfield has been failing over and over again, both defensively, and in the attack? When our offensive players are unable to make one coherent action? Bash Ranieri for not changing a thing when we look like a shit spreaded over the grass. Bash all the team for giving an embarrassing performance AGAIN.

It's not Wasilewski who is the problem here. Problem is standing at the sidelines and his name is Claudio.
