Can't believe the ratings for King, guy was everywhere.

Created our only semblance of a chance, managed more shots than anybody else, made more tackles than anybody else, made the most interceptions and loads of other stuff.

I actually thought he stuck out as playing pretty well in a game that was largely devoid of quality.

i think these ratings are always a touch harsh when we lose and exaggerated when we win. Morgan, Simpson and King were reasonably solid yet they've got a rating that says they were poor.

King's rating lol Most tackles in the game. Another 3 interceptions, 2 clearances on top of a couple of cracking balls in the box and winning countless fouls to take the pressure off.

And some clown described him as invisible for his performance.

Going to have to give him a 10 every game to compensate from now on.

I was suprised to suddenly see king strolling about 20 mins in

In fairness i would have put him ahead of fuchs and behind amarty who has made real progress and is looking assertive. .... just in time for us to lose him to afcon

I think the ratings were a bit harsh on the ref! Thought he was excellent.

Didn't give Boro a penalty when Huth tripped Traore. And he gave us most 50/50s, we have to admit that. Boro fans thought he was poor.

It's a bit harsh on King, who put in a real shift, and Ulloa, who spurned a half-chance or two but held the ball up perfectly well. Mahrez was lacklustre, but he made more happen in the game than Mendy or Gray, who didn't get into the game at all. Simpson also seems a bit high to me. I think he's been one of our better defenders this season, but his distribution (one cross aside) was woeful in that match.

It's interesting to see Musa bottom. On the one hand I think it's quite unfair given the time he had to get into the game, and hope people aren't getting too frustrated with Slimani or him. On the other, he did look very out of sorts. I don't want to look into things more than necessary, but he seems like quite a delicate flower. It's the third time I've seen him go down like he's been shot, and the other players' expressions said that they weren't worried, and knew to expect this sort of thing from him. He may have integrated with them really well, but it doesn't look like that, and maybe he has a share of the blame there. He's scored two goals for us and you could see everyone wanted to celebrate with him on both occasions, but on one he pretended to be seriously hurt to the extent that he couldn't even acknowledge them, on the other he ignored all his team-mates and did some sort of prayer all by himself. None of this is necessarily important, but there's the impression that he's not fit in with everyone else just yet, and maybe there were a few hints - in his game, in his body language, in their reactions to him - at the weekend.

Mind you, we thought that Kante hadn't really fit in either. And he was fine.

I'm happy to criticise referees who help us out, but I'm not sure that was the case. I saw the pundits reviewing the Huth incident after he'd said it was a penalty, and they weren't convinced. For me it would have been a harsh penalty, albeit one that you could have justified. As for the 50-50s, a lot of them went the right way. It's bound to be the case that, every now and then, seven or eight decisions go the same way, and rightly. I think that's all that happened. And regardless of how right or wrong those decisions are, home fans will always get frustrated if they see nothing going their way.

But I'm not going to defend Bobby Madley in terms of how well he's refereed this season, and I'm happy to accept that there have been times in the past when the boot has been on the other foot. One game this season- can't remember which - sticks in my mind, when lots of decisions were going against us and fans were getting riled, but the truth was that we were simply committing too many fouls.
