The sooner people realise players don't give a **** about fans the better. Despite what they might say in interviews to look like they're in touch with reality.

Players play for managers and themselves, end of....

You may be right but if I'm honest I don't give a shit about the player's either. I'm there to show my support for the City I was born in and to say I'm proud of it good or bad.

So fed up with this 'well if the players show passion ' crap. I'll never be embarrassed of my team but it seems like many on here are.

What a fool you are. If you don't believe there is a correlation between atmosphere and performance then you really are clueless. It was loud last year at every home game, opposition players were beaten before they stepped out. It intimdates players, it inspires ours, if Amarty gives the ball away and all he hears is moans and groans of course it's going to affect him and his confidence, something that a lot of our players appear to be lacking. The KP is quiet this year per se, not a patch on last year's noise and you don't think it's part of the issue? Villa were a disgrace as fans at home last year, look where that got them...

The team inspire the fans, the fans then inspire the team.

They ain't mutually exclusive!

It hasn't been loud at all this season, maybe you just had the volume turned up on your TV. Awful response by the way, truly pathetic, "Big intelligence" hmmm yeah ok..

It's not been loud because the players have given us little to be loud about! When they have it's been loud!

Forget it, you clearly don't understand.

If you think that LCFC fans at home are the sort to sing when there's nowt to sing about, you're gonna be sorely disappointed. Away from home is a different matter.

Do you even go to games?

I am with you Col the atmosphere at home has been pretty ordinary all season......even the CL has been average.

Away has not been much better although Bruges was unbelievable but as you said the lazy sods have done sweet FA to give us much to shout about........

So has it been loud or not?? Ahh bless, you appear to be confused. I do like the way that you blabber on about irrelevant stuff waffling along without the apparent intelligence to offer a retort. And yes Colin, I go to games, try and be a bit more original next time.

But why should it be different away from home? Maybe that's the problem, people going to home games with that attitude? "I don't need to sing today, there's thousands more people who can do that for me."

Not that it's been the case the past couple of years. Our home atmosphere has been miles better than most of our away ends.

ITS LOUD WHEN THE PLAYERS GIVE US SOMETHING TO GET EXCITED ABOUT.

LCFC fans are not and never have been very loud when not much is happening on the pitch.

I give up. It's like talking to Jimmy Kranky.

Hahahah what a spanner, that's the whole point of the thread!!!!! Let's try and be loud when the team are not offering anything up. You clearly are a moron.

So you're saying we HAVE been loud at home, whilst still losing?

Point made then..

I'll look out for you Mickey. Standing up with your arms aloft shouting 'Blue armie'

3-0 City if this happens for sure.

I'm sold...

What point? That we've been loud at home when the team have been up against it and playing shite. Certainly true until this season.

Aren't you odd, spelling my name wrong for what reason exactly? It's not funny or deemening. If you sit there like a mute, you might as well give the "ticket" to someone that's going to make a difference, the 12th man if you will.......

Why do these nonsense bloody threads always get so many plus ones?

Of course we all support the team. We've supported the team all season, not least the fans who have paid a fortune to get to away fixtures..to see a bag of shite.

Its as if some mythical 'getting behind the team' is going to make a big difference. We are behind the team already! This isn't about the fans, it's about the club being run terribly for months.

Its time the players gave something back to the fans and pulled their bloody fingers out.

Lets see how many plus ones that post gets....

lol

Bit of a bah humbug kind of guy aren't you?

I wasnt wasn't just talking about at the ground and if you'd read my post you'd see that. And I'm not talking about just supporting the team but for everyone to get behind the team.  And no one said it would make a big difference but even if it's a minimal difference. hey sorry to burst your bah humbug moment but try reading a bit more accurately!

I think Col has provided us all with a welcome reminder about arguing with idiots in this thread

I agree we have to get behind the lads at every game even if we are playing shite, not heard booing yet this season but dont think it will be long

Thing that gets me is this..

Were in a rut , a massive low confidence, heads down rut..... BUT when you see vardy on the front of another OK magazine or setting up his V9 thing , fuchs flying to Austria in the week to take part in a fashion show of his clothing range , Morgans involved in a tattoo parlour business ... i think to myself are they even bothered ??

I know they have to think about when they stop playing what they going to do etc.. but when your on that kind of money a week shouldnt you be putting eveything into getting out of this rut for the club whos paying you?!

What do you guys think, does it have any effect on them?

Well where then?

You think it'll make a difference on here?

I have literally no idea what you are on about.

No, the team and the club have got us into this mess and a simple 'get behind em' makes no difference.

Why? Because we were anyway.

A much more interesting thread would have been along the lines of 'do you think the fans have been behind the team and, if not, has that affected their performances'?

That might have evoked some debate. Instead we get a Churchillian 'we're all in it together'.

Tell that to the players this season.
