Relegation tainting last season?

I'm definitely more disappointed that we've managed to go from being one of the best run clubs around with a backroom staff to match the best in the country, to seemingly one of the worst in the league and continually getting worse. This has taken about 12-18 months and still seems like it'll get worse before it gets better again.

Absolute shambles.

Couldn't agree more. A massive opportunity to establish this club and move forward has been squandered totally

The club structure, planning staffing etc has all gone from a positive progressive structure to an embarrassing shambles

Watching Ranieri presss conference made me more depressed .

Please please somebody get a grip!!

Not a chance

We did something absolutely miraculous last season, beating all the money-powered, world class talent at the Premier Leagues disposal, little old Leicester beat them all (some smart arse will say, not Arsenal, but whatever)

Ranieri's achievements will be remembered forevermore, no one can take it away from him, or Leicester. We're apparently "back where we should be", so last season far outweighs potential relegation in my eyes.

Shambles now yes, but the thing is that the Ranieri 5 year plan was always to buy in good young players and build a new team. He's been so unlucky that so many of the 'old guard' have gone down-hill so fast, but the team he is building for 3 years time will be fantastic, young, athletic, fast, strong. The prem win wasn't in the plan, so just a massive bonus for us. It is the long term future we should be thinking about, not a bit of short term heart ache, and I am confident..... (still be nice to win the cup and avoid the drop!)

I agree with this 100%. Nothing can tarnish a prem win! Nothing. Relegation wouldn't tarnish it at all.

Just because lots of us, myself included, got carried away with that win and assumed that our win meant we were a de-facto established top-8 club it doesn't mean we need to break with that long-term plan.

We need to be thinking long-term and about building a team long-term (starting with our defence after they've gone downhill so swiftly since last year - which couldn't have been predicted).

People saying no one can take away our achievements from last year.

Yes that's true but getting relegated as defending champions will make us the butt of jokes for years to come.

It's the sort of thing we jeer Derby and Forest about. How they used be good but now they're s***

Would there also be a little disclaimer at the end of our Hollywood movie to say we got relegated the following year?

Has anyone thought that it's never boring at City is it? Cannot remember a drab season with nothing happening. Imagine being a Stoke or West Brom, and Villa till last year, just so bang average nothing happens, and they still field weak cup teams!

Well if you mix with other People and travel the world a bit you do , if your a loaner and never venture beyond the city ring road you probably don't give a shite

i was so proud being a part of the fairytale last year and I don't  want to see sniggers and snearing replace the smiles and respect !

Don't live in the city, but I don't care how anyone else remembers us, I will always remember last season with pride and a bit of disbelief, no matter what happens. Sneering can't take anything from last year.
