You've done it again....'invective'?

I'm not happy that you are continually using words that I don't know!

Respect...

I personally believe we should all be committed to building and maintaining a positive culture at LCFC and here on foxestalk,  I strongly believe that we must all be committed to celebrating difference of opinion , challenging abuse and ensuring fairness for all here on the forum , we need to respect  players , owners and management.

Dignity and Respect Should be a minimum requirement for every post we write ,  it should apply to all members of our community and all connected to the football club , we should all set out our clear expectations of consideration for and by others.

Thoughtless or ill-informed words and actions – particularly when magnified through the lens of social media - can have all manner of repercussions, sometimes causing great distress and damaging the reputation of the Club, This is wholly unacceptable for me . UnFortunately such incidents are on the rise during this hard and difficult time

We all need to remain mindful of the public nature of social media and the fact that questionable, privately expressed views often do not remain private and they can effect people in deep and deistructive ways.

These players and this management team delivered eternal memories , please show some dignity and afford them some respect at this difficult time.

Claudio is a special man , he behaves with dignity and has been so respectful.

The owners are special people they have behaved with dignity and respect

Isnt it time we the the fans and all who love LCFC behave in the same way .... with dignity and respect

Good grief.  We are talking about football here aren't we ?  This sounded more like the Gettysburg address. Lets instead have some perspective. Whether we go down or not no one is going to starve or get killed , no one is going to lose their job ( fans ) of have their house repossessed.   IT'S A SPORT A GAME NOTHING MORE AND NOTHING LESS.   Yes I love my club and have supported them for 50 odd years but the hysteria on here is frankly embarrassing.

Except it's not necessarily true. Lots of people could potentially lose their jobs if we're relegated. I'm not thinking about players - if they can't manage their money properly - or pay someone else to manage it, then that's likely to be their own fault. But the real problems will hit behind the scenes workers, whether full or part time because they'd likely be part of a smaller operation with less income being generated.

Professional football is not just game, It's big business and provides a living for all sorts of people.

And those people, like everyone else, might well borrow money against the income they earn from Leicester to provide mortgages, cars, house extensions and all sorts. And some of those people might well be vulnerable if they lost their job or their hours were cut.

That's not trying to sound alarmist. We're surely in a far better position than some clubs in being able to cope financially with relegation.

But, our owners are in this business to make a profit and I'm sure all aspects of their business will reflect that for all the controversy about Ranieri and the best course of action on the football side.

Bloody hell Gaelicfox giving it some!!!

Your right though.

If someone gave you a League One title, followed by a Championship title many years ago you would have been eternally grateful.

THEN they give you a historic Premier League relegation survival FOLLOWED by THE BLOODY PREMIER LEAGUE TITLE!!!!!

Teams ALOT bigger and better than us haven't even had a SNIFF of these things!!!

YES we are crap at the moment, yes the players have underachieved and Yes we have missed an opportunity to build BUT let's just take a deep breath, think of the memories of last season and take that into the run in....We are LEICESTER CITY FC...we don't just Fecking lie down and die for ANYONE!!!!

As a positive thinker I whole heartedly agree with the sentiment,  however , I have to agree with those that are saying respect goes both ways.

Last season was miraculous and is etched in the history books!

This season is disastrous, sickening and to date unforgivable. Behaving like overpaid spoilt brats who are not showing 10% of the fight, guts and camaraderie of last season.

Ranieri may have flaws but for them to solely blame him for their now ineptitude is a cop out imo, if they are?

They need to grow some balls and get some fkn pride and fight back fast or it could be the disaster that surpasses and taints the greatness of last season forever.

I will SUPPORT as always , I will not tolerate or accept a lack of fight and effort, never acceptable, it's like we've got 7/8 Beckfords in our team now, disgraceful.

I was thinking more on the lines of at least we don't live in Aleppo , but I take your point. Lets hope that even if we get relegated the owners will stick with us and bring us stability and long term success , sometimes you have to put up with a step back to move forward.

Seems to me we need an "attitude manager" at Leicester. We've actually let winning the title take our eyes off the process of moving forward step by step.

In other words we started believing our own publicity and forgetting that football is about proper preparation and concentrating on the next result.

Some of the publicity generated was glowing but some was appalling and it all added up to a sideshow that wrecked our concentration.

Our pre-season preparation was a disaster. As was all the speculative shit I read about Vardy, Mahrez and so on. It was like a side-show.

We need to set our own standards - on the football field, on the training ground and in the Press room.

And those standards should focus first and last on two things - our next intended achievement and our long term intent.

That means controlling our corporate emotions and keeping our players and staff 100% focused and at one with our strategic philosophies.

Which starts with getting all heads of department understanding our aims and singing from the same songsheet.

All team coaches and managers understanding our basic playing philosophy and how to achieve it.

Our entire staff understanding and accepting our publicity policy and the channels through which publicity emanates.

Our psychological foundations need to be solid and relentless. That doesn't mean they can't be fluid - quite the contrary, the ability to adapt is vital  - but they need to be properly formulated and entirely understood.

Inevitably there'd be mistakes but these would need to be dealt with quickly, fairly and ruthlessly if necessary.

The more ruthless you are the more lenient you can be for the most part. And if you're going to be ruthless hit where it's going to have the most impact and leave no doubt that you mean it.
