Are you the Pope?..

Seriously a great opening, and provides some positivity on this part of the forum (negativity has been big in recent times on here).

Are you bloody surprised?

No, but felt like visual depression (as if there was no way out of reading concerning numerous threads) was coming on especially with new threads about woes and negativity adding to it all.

Wtf is this about, were getting raped week in week out, what's there to be dignified about?

As usual spot on.

Im all for dignity and respect. However, have we as fans been afforded any?

the club: increases prices charging us double in some respect to see this rubbish. Wasting away transfer windows and hiring a guy who couldn't run a piss up a brewery to administer it.

the players: holding the club to ransom. Being paid extortionate sums to put out inept performances that wouldn't be acceptable in league one.

The manager: where do I start. Sack the sports psychologist - because he doesn't believe it. Changing everything good about the club in one summer. Marginalising Shakespeare despite his work for this club long before he came. Smiling and joking at press conference knowing he is untouchable. And above all, failing to MANAGE this club.

They combined threw away gods gift and shouldn't be anywhere near us. Respect them? I barely want to acknowledge them!

The snag is that negativity comes from frustration... especially when  one feels that potential answers are not listened to.  Yet I suppose no club is run by the supporters.  We are right to be angry... yet our destiny is to be ignored...  I really wish there could be more honesty from the club...  we support Leicester unconditionally and want to be out of this mess... yet there is no recognition that the optinions of the fans are listened to (... perhaps to explain why another route is chosen)

We 'aren't positive' because we are fookin dreadful. The recent worst record across all four divisions, no less.

When we stop being shite, we'll get more positive.

It ain't rocket science though some on here would make out it is..

Yes yes yes your sentiment is very nice, the poor poor players who are millionaire's and get to play a game for a career deserve dignity and respect. Of course they do, the poor souls, they must cry into a fistful of fifty pound notes every night. Well I'd fookin kill to have enough cash to cry about city's performance into a wad of fifties. I would kill to be a professional athlete who gets to play the greatest sport for a living. But no instead I have to work my arse off to be able to afford watching these players and I will call them whatever the fuk I lie if they continue to act like they don't give a shit.

I personally believe we should all be committed to building and maintaining a positive culture at LCFC and here on foxestalk,  I strongly believe that we must all be committed to celebrating difference of opinion , challenging abuse and ensuring fairness for all here on the forum , we need to respect  players , owners and management.

Dignity and Respect Should be a minimum requirement for every post we write ,  it should apply to all members of our community and all connected to the football club , we should all set out our clear expectations of consideration for and by others.

Isnt it time we the the fans and all who love LCFC behave in the same way .... with dignity and respect

I agree with everything you have written....

But wasnt it you who called me a nob a few weeks back?

This, absolutely.

Our title-winners are getting whipped almost every weekend for months now, no wonder people get more or less emotional about it. Some of them pay for the tickets and attend away games, I believe they deserve better from the players and the manager.

There's only one remedy for the general lack of civility, dignity, respect, etc etc - POINTS. As soon as Leicester stop descending down the table, FT will suddenly become respectful and dignified again and people will stop calling players and each other twats.

Thoughtless or ill-informed words and actions – particularly when magnified through the lens of social media - can have all manner of repercussions, sometimes causing great distress and damaging the reputation of the Club, This is wholly unacceptable for me . UnFortunately such incidents are on the rise during this hard and difficult time

We all need to remain mindful of the public nature of social media and the fact that questionable, privately expressed views often do not remain private and they can effect people in deep and deistructive ways.

These players and this management team delivered eternal memories , please show some dignity and afford them some respect at this difficult time.

Claudio is a special man , he behaves with dignity and has been so respectful.

The owners are special people they have behaved with dignity and respect

Isnt it time we the the fans and all who love LCFC behave in the same way .... with dignity and respect

That's your opinion not mine.

Are you objecting to him calling them special people or him saying they  have behaved with dignity and respect?

It'd be nice if the fans who'll always be the most important part of the club were shown some respect rather than disgusting performances served up on the pitch, or Ranieri's persistent bullshit in post match interviews. Most of these players are legends and so is Claudio but currently we're the most toxic club in the country, we're almost as bad as Villa last season which is staggering considering what happened last season.

Dignity and respect has to be earned.. That was the case last season but certainly not this.. How can you have respect for a team that are now looked upon as a laughing stock and have the worse form of all 92 football league clubs?... We're supposed to be THE CHAMPIONS OF ENGLAND FFS!

i cant take anyone seriously when all I can see of them is Graham bloody Norton!

Solid post BTW. I always advocate the positive, even when I look towards the dug out and see the likes of Megson, Worthington and Dave Bassett. Things may not be perfect but we always need to back our lads through thick or thin, especially when they have given us the memories they have over the last 18 months.

We are all disappointed and frustrated when we lose.  Yet i dont think it is a lack of caring by the players.   Dtinky looked shattered on sunday... yet unable to identify what was wrong.

Against thus we have the match thread accusinh players if being useless or sh1theads etc etc.

Lets accept that we all want it sorting... owners players fans.

Comment and arguments are part of football. ... i dont want to end up being unable to suggest what wrong and how it could be fixed.  Yet i agee that we can do without vitriol aimed at manager and players

Drinky looks unfit to me - that's why he's 'shattered'.

He looks shorter and fatter than last season.

That cannot be helping.

There has never been a more appropriate 'ffs' on this forum I don't think.

I laughed at this.... it's so heartfelt and true.

Nailed it.

There is a time to be positive and optimistic. This isn't it. Our players and our manager are giving us nothing to be optimistic about. Literally, our recent form cannot have been any worse. It is THE worst across all four divisions. That's an amazing thing to say but it's true...just let that sink in a little.

Now is time for ACTION. It's not the time to be sitting and 'respecting' and all that bollox (again, no offence to Gaelic, but it never ceases to amaze me how many plus ones an OP like this gets). Respect can come later if we put up a fight and stay up. Not now.

It's a fookin tightrope this. The owners have shown 'loyalty' to Claudio and are taking a big big gamble with the club's future by so doing. I just hope it comes off. If they've made the wrong move and the Champions of England get relegated in successive seasons, they can all stick their 'respect' where the sun don't shine.

Fine margins, big gamble. Let's see.

Ironic isn't it that those same players and manager that gave us so much are now giving us so little.   I honestly think that after what they achieved last season, (soooo much !!), they are mentally and physically boloxed.  Batteries were never recharged and I think whoever committed them to that pre season pantomime has a lot to answer for.

However, SOMEBODY should have seen what was happening a lot earlier and done something about it ....    there is nothing now that those behind the scenes can do so its all down to CR and the players.   They will always have my respect but equally if they don't start showing some fookin fight, right now !,  that respect will drop down a couple of notches.

Look guys...............there is NEVER a time for abuse and scapegoating, that's the point here. Nobody (I hope) is calling for no legitimate criticism - let's face it, there is plenty to improve right now - but soiling names and characters with insulting invective isn't criticism, it just tells you what the internal monologue of some people must be sometimes.

You've done it again....'invective'?

I'm not happy that you are continually using words that I don't know!

Respect...

Whatever will be will be. We can't alter what happens by being abusive towards players/manager despite our disappointment, all we can do now is get behind the team and hope they care enough to give their best

Nice One Gaelic!
A sort of LEVELLER to all of us in times of trouble, stress, depression, shattered dreams, anticipation of a GOAL!. etc etc.

But let's not forget the forum is a great place to vent out your frustration (within reason) at all things LCFC.

Sometimes it is best to disappear from the forum for a while, everything in moderation - Let's keep smiling.
