I think outside of the discussions as to the who, why when etc... A positive topic to thank Claudio Ranieri.

 

Thank you Claudio, for not just winning the league, for not just giving me my greatest moments in Leicester City history. But also for showing such style and dignity and demonstrating how a football manager should represent his players and his club.

I've been sitting here reflecting on the crazy last year and a half at our football club. From Pearson's sudden sacking to Claudio being announced and listening to his first interview with some apprehension. Then to the entire magical league winning season (and how I remember thinking he should get a lifetime contract and stay at the club until he chooses to retire) and now to here.

 

I know it probably had to happen, but I am just gutted that the greatest manager in our club's history, a premier league winning manager, total class act and true gentleman and ambassador to his football club is gone after a year and a half. 

 

Thank you, Claudio. I love you.

The statue may have just become a little smaller and possibly not placed in such a prominent position, but it should still happen.

He gave us all the best memories possible, good luck to him.

I think he had to go for the greater good of our football club. I think the selfish players have lost respect for him. Why I don't know but they seemed to. And unfortunately we had to do something to arrest the awful slump. Especially given that CR has a reputation for being a one season wonder. 

 

Having said all of that - the man is a legend. And that word gets thrown around from pillar to post these days but in this case it is genuinely true. He's an absolute gentleman, a pleasure to listen to, a good guy and most of all a sign of inspiration and hope that if you work hard you can achieve literally anything. 

 

Last year he was a tactical genius. People sometimes well the players were brilliant and he just picked the same team every week but no. He made the right changes at the right times in pretty much every match. He never put a foot wrong. 

 

I thank you Don Claudio, I will miss you and I wish you the best - I hope you retire so that we can be your last club!

I'm horrified.  Absolutely horrified.  The club has not done right to the man who led us to the greatest achievement in our history.  I am ashamed that he was sacked.

 

Throughout all the problems this season he remained steadfast in his support of the players, many of whom were letting him down.  He didn't air any of the discontent which appeared to be flying around the club.  At all times he behaved with integrity and dignity, and that is to be greatly admired.  We won't see his like again in a hurry.  He has my thanks, and I hope the thanks of all true City supporters, for what he has given to our club.

When Mancini got sacked at man city their fans forum showed real class by chipping in and take out a full page thank you in one of the Italian papers. 

Wouldn't it be good If we did the same.

The greatest shame in ithe football history!

LCFC's fans eated bread and s**t during all your history, last season someone get the choccolate to you and now you sacked him because the choccolate is end. Shame on you.
