Stuliasz Posted 4 October 2005 Posted 4 October 2005 Hi guys, I know a lot of you are very anti-milestone thread posting people, but I felt as though I needed to mark my ton with a few words... Firstly, I think this is a great messageboard mainly due to the fantastic personalities of the posters on here and despite going through rough times, it is always popular and there is always an interesting debate be it on Leicester, football, or life in general. You have all made it a great place to post and I'm sure it will be a for a long time to come. It seems like it has taken an age to join the 1k club despite feeling like I have posted pretty regularly, although I guess I have a life outside of this messageboard. I suppose if there was one thing that I could change about the board, it would be the minority who display animosity towards other posters. At the end of the day, we all (except for Miss B) want effectively the same thing which is to see the good times come back for City, and I'm sure with collective support that can happen again. Anyway, keep up the quality posting and the quality debating and I'm sure I will stick around and even come up with the odd stat for a long time to come Dan aka Sheff

Thracian Posted 4 October 2005 Posted 4 October 2005 Well done. It's a milestone worth celebrating and here's to the next 1,000. Always feel I've embarked on a bit of spiritual homecoming when I talk to anyone in Sheffield cos it was my late grandfather's home town and before that one of his family was City Mayor, I understand. My own experiences of the City are limited only to the Abbeydale squash club which held one of the best Open tournaments in the country at one time (may still do) and which prompted a really sociable gathering of the worldwide squash clan year in, year out.
