Hi guys just to let everyone know we run a small pub on Cavendish road (between Aylestone road and saffron lane) called prince of punjab. We have great cheap pints for £3 and a good deal on food. Really good currys and rice in meal box with a pint or fish pakorahs and chips starting from £6. Great atmosphere and friendly staff. Check us out on Facebook and instagram...

Sounds really good, you guys serve halal meat?

Guys when you come in mention your from this forum and i'll give you 10% off the deals all season every time you come in on match days.

I'd rather pay extra than be associated with these reprobates.

Seriously though, that's a good deal.

On a similar note I'm looking for people to meet up with before games a bit more. I always go to games but on my own as I live 60 ,miles away . Quite like it, but feel like I should start making more of a day of it. Any sound folk about I could grab a drink and some food with every now and then? Christ I sound desperate!

Hi no sorry we do authentic punjabi food. All our meat is locally sourced and is Non-halal.

Excellant stuff, I will check your place and if it's any good, I will bring the family.  I don't eat halal meat by the way!!

If and when I do a similar 60 miles, I'll let you know.

Is the rumours that the empty land next to the ground will be some food outlets, including a McDonald's.., correct?

I'm a bit Billy no mates when I go to watch a game - I drive 150 miles each way, so can't really go on the screaming piss, but usually just end up grabbing a bite to eat on my own on the Narborough Road then going to the match...sad, innit??!!! :(
