katieakita Posted 14 August 2017 Posted 14 August 2017 40 years old suggest before ditching think of the journey you have been on in that time and keep it. Also remember how utterly shite we were that season 40 years where this would have been the brightest highlight of the season
RODNEY FERNIO Posted 14 August 2017 Posted 14 August 2017 Kellard was about four years before I started being taken as a kid. My Dad says he was a tough little devil but less than five feet tall ... must have been the smallest player in history . Start of another thread ? Leicester's greatest short arses ?
weller54 Posted 14 August 2017 Posted 14 August 2017 On second thoughts... It's definitely.. Russell Osram!

Westerby Posted 14 August 2017 Posted 14 August 2017 Would the last person to leave the room please switch the light off. Then, if it is a King sized shade, bury it in the car park across the road from the stadium. We may win the Premier League again when aliens find it in 500 years time.
LlanishenFox Posted 14 August 2017 Author Posted 14 August 2017 Well, a light bulb moment... I seem to remember on Antiques Roadshow (OH likes it) when they get a big valuation and they say, no, I'll never sell it, and then you watch the 'revisited', they cash it in the next week. So I've taken the previous advice and listed it on eBay for 0.99, just to see what happens. Interesting to see which target market will win out - this thread or the marketplace. Isn't the market always right? I'll keep you posted...and you're welcome to bid...

LlanishenFox Posted 14 August 2017 Author Posted 14 August 2017 You really did, didn't you...cheers...that means I have to do all that packing up and posting thing...unless I hand it over outside the KP in a ceremonial way... http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Vintage-1970s-Leicester-City-football-bedside-light-/112525535323?hash=item1a330b685b:g:HY0AAOSwz2tZkgmz Probably missed a trick by not putting it in the Leicester City dedicated section...
LlanishenFox Posted 21 August 2017 Author Posted 21 August 2017 Sold for £7.50, sorry you missed out, red5...for a long time I thought you were going to be outbid by just 20p... Anyone on here going to admit to splashing out? At least it's going to make its way back to its home town from exile in Wales. To somewhere in the region of Narborough Rd, and I have a feeling it was bought at Modern Toys by Upperton junction.
red5 Posted 21 August 2017 Posted 21 August 2017 And paid Don't get it damaged in the post, if you want to bring to a match that's fine, but I don't want to take it in the ground.
Stadt Posted 21 August 2017 Posted 21 August 2017 The lamp shade is amazing, the rest of it is a bit tacky but it's still good, I love seeing retro memorabilia
