Lovejoy Posted 30 August 2017 Posted 30 August 2017 Anyone played this yet? Last game I got was F1 2015, which is pony. This one does look much stronger on the face of it. Crunch question is whether it's worth chucking £45-50 on?
The Horse's Mouth Posted 30 August 2017 Posted 30 August 2017 I'm loving it personally, it depends what kind of player you are. As for someone like me, who loves career mode I think this is genuinely the best career mode codey have put out. the R&D tree is so vast compared to last year's edition. I can't really comment on online as I've not ventured into those waters just yet, but this is the F1 game I've been waiting for, for ages. The classic cars are fun as well.
VinceNoir Posted 30 August 2017 Posted 30 August 2017 It's miles better than F1 2015, which was a disaster. But it's also far more than a polished version of F1 2016 imo. It's comfortably the best F1 game ever made.
Devonfox1884 Posted 31 August 2017 Posted 31 August 2017 Just picked this up on amazon for £37, looking forward to it arriving tomorrow
Beliall Posted 31 August 2017 Posted 31 August 2017 I got F1 2016 in the sale, I'm well happy with that for now

stix Posted 2 September 2017 Posted 2 September 2017 The best F1 game ever made imo. I'm halfway through my first season on career mode and it's brilliant. The detail and efforts codemasters have have gone to to get the realism right is immense. 2016 was a great game, this is miles better imo. The classic car challenges are a breath of fresh air during a gruelling season, the R&D side of career mode is huge, the difficulty level is on a slider now as well, so no more 2 second lap time jumps between each difficulty level. You must buy it.
