frenchy_lcfc Posted 12 October 2005 Posted 12 October 2005 EveryOne KEEPS the Faith! And we Take the P*** out OF FOREST, DERBY AND COV!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Guest Gist Posted 12 October 2005 Posted 12 October 2005 We have fans that come out with great comments at matches
MC Prussian Posted 12 October 2005 Posted 12 October 2005 Supporting a club that almost nobody seems to know outside of Leicester... ...which sometimes leads to pleasant surprises when we kick one of the big club's asses!
gurkbasurken Posted 12 October 2005 Posted 12 October 2005 I'm probably the only Leicester fan in Stockholm/Sweden, at least that I know about, and I definitely think it's an honour for me to support a classic club like LCFC! /g
Nationwider Posted 12 October 2005 Posted 12 October 2005 Two trophies in the past 10 years. Apart from Arse, Chelsea, ManYoo and LFC, you can ram that down the throat of most clubs' fans at a moments notice.
The People's Hero Posted 13 October 2005 Posted 13 October 2005 'Cos its good to support a team that not many people support. We have a good stadium , Loyal fans , and some great memorys. We are unique we are Leicester City I'm sure I live in the South. Having read your post though, I'm obviously mistaken
The People's Hero Posted 13 October 2005 Posted 13 October 2005 I clearly quoted the wrong person there! Nevermind. Back to work then. My input is that overall, supporting Leicester is very dull. Granted, most of the games are dull. Usually though, the overall picture provides cup runs/promotions/relegation/scandals/awful disciplinary record etc.
IDEA OR IKEA Posted 13 October 2005 Posted 13 October 2005 Because in 90% of the pubs and bars around the country if someone asks you aggressivly who you support and you say Leicester then nobody cares - got me out of many a fight in Manchester!!!
Ric Flair Posted 13 October 2005 Posted 13 October 2005 Richard Stearman, Alan Sheehan, James Wesolowski, Ashley Chambers, Ryan Smith Just for starters
MC Prussian Posted 13 October 2005 Posted 13 October 2005 Because in 90% of the pubs and bars around the country if someone asks you aggressivly who you support and you say Leicester then nobody cares - got me out of many a fight in Manchester!!! Exactly. Hardly anybody outside Leicestershire seems to know the 7th largest city in England and its football club. Which, again, I consider being an advantage: We strike when nobody expects us to... We are a sleeping giant.
The People's Hero Posted 13 October 2005 Posted 13 October 2005 Sleeping giant? LMAO! One of the most fickle sets of fans in the country. A board which has only shown genuine ambition when we had a complete idiot managing the club? Sleeping giant?

The People's Hero Posted 13 October 2005 Posted 13 October 2005 In a couple of years? You'll be lucky if I remember anything about 2005 in a couple of years time!
MC Prussian Posted 13 October 2005 Posted 13 October 2005 In a couple of years? You'll be lucky if I remember anything about 2005 in a couple of years time! Err... Let's just forget about this season and pretend it'd never happened!

The People's Hero Posted 13 October 2005 Posted 13 October 2005 In amongst all this feel-good-ism, I'd like to remind everybody that we're sh it.
Northants Fox Posted 13 October 2005 Posted 13 October 2005 In amongst all this feel-good-ism, I'd like to remind everybody that we're sh it. Nothing like putting a downer on things
The People's Hero Posted 13 October 2005 Posted 13 October 2005 No reason we can't have an XI to make us proud again but they need to be playing their hearts out every week for the cause like previous incarnations. We need to be able to identify with them. At the moment, we're sh it.
