Scow Posted 16 July 2004 Posted 16 July 2004 Leicester manager Micky Adams has accused Norwich and their manager Nigel Worthington of attempting to unsettle midfielder Jamie Scowcroft.Worthington, currently enjoying the Canaries' pre-season tour of Malaysia, confirmed his interest in Scowcroft earlier this week. But Adams, who has seen several first-team players invoke contract clauses to leave the club for small transfer fees following Leicester's relegation from the top flight, was dismayed by Worthington's comments. He said: "I always thought Norwich City were a quality club and their manager was a quality manager but I've been bitterly disappointed. "They are trying to unsettle one of the players at this football club but I've had no offer from Norwich City for James Scowcroft and I don't expect one either.
