De Bruyne a "gritty" midfielder apparently

He's obviously got a lot to his game but Kevin De Bruyne knows how to put his foot in.

He's a bit like Gerrard. Ultra talented and isn't afraid of a tackle. You can't bully him in a game so I would say that you can call him a "gritty" midfielder.

Last week I was getting sh!t for sticking up for Mahrez. Now people are "outing" those who Booed him on Friday!!

lol

People can moan on here with no repercussions. At the match if they boo him and someone takes exception, they'll have to deal with it, so they're more likely to keep their mouths shut.

Don't agree with booing but a standing ovation was beyond cringey, he doesnt have any respect for us so why are people giving it to him?

I always stand up and clap when we make a substitution, for me it's as much a reception for the player coming on as it is an ovation for the one going off. Or am I wrong?

Good clarification, I'm always unsure whether to Boo first then Clap, or Clap then Boo......

I've never booed at any of our own players match in my life.

Me neither :D I didn't hear any from where I sit either, but a fair few around me stayed seated at the substitution

People like you are the reason the atmosphere has become so shit.

It's my fault the the style of football has become boring? It's no coincidence that the style changes and the place goes flat. I still shout, cheer and sing but it's hard to do it with the same gusto when you play along the back line for 5 minutes. If you're telling me you're singing at fill tilt the whole time then I applaud you.

Maybe, just maybe fans in the pitch heard the boo's in thought that a standing ovation after a MOTM performance will send a message of "as long as you play good; we will have your back"

It's no secret , he's by far our most talented player, if he keeps playing like the last game no one will hate him for wanting a "bigger club"

Weller and Muzzy handed in a transfer requast and weller refused to play.
I say treat him well when he plays against us next season. For all his stupid mistakes, I want him to be present when the club unveils the statue of this pic outside the king power 20 years from now!

Apart from a few big games like Sevilla and Atletico, the atmosphere has been average since we won the league. That isn't down to the style of play, its down to fans becoming entitled expecting what they had in the title winning season.

I'm not sure. I just think we broke football a bit, and the fans (much like the players) can't maintain the same intensity.

It's one reason I'll be relieved as the 15/16 players leave/retire/become less important. NOT because I hate them, but it will gradually be more possible to build a new hungry group and have the greatest memories of what happened, and the greatest respect for those that took part in it.
