I was that happy at the time that I genuinely felt that if I was suddenly taken I'd have happily gone, my life felt that complete. lol

You weren’t the only one.

I can remember every single day in the months leading up to it driving up the motorway doing 60MPH thinking I’m not bloody dying now lol

You weren't the fan they pulled up from the stand into the radio commentary box after the match were you?

No mate.

My bruv in laws a bit square, and we had my nephew with us - school in the morning , so made a quite swift exit from west London.

There was a lot of goading the Spurs fans and the police weren't pissing about.

One of the most surreal train journeys back to Bedford as well - i sort of sat there, fairly quiet, not really knowing what to do or say.

Waited my whole life for a moment like that and didn't know how to react.

Biked home from the station, a bit pissed and unlike Leicester, there was hardly a car on the street and everything was shut.

Got home and wife and kids were going bonkers - watched tele over and over again.

I haven't shut up anout winning the title to my mates , who follow various teams and they've told me I'm like a f#%$ing  sScouser  - keep going on about the past?

As soon as sky showed the crowds gathering outside the kp I jumped in the car and headed down there, nearly stacked the car in the underpass hanging out the window singing and shouting with a camper I'd pulled up along side, then round the corner the traffic was at a standstill. Flags, people running down the middle of the road, car hooters, it was like the images you see when Brazil or Argentina win the World Cup.

The traffic was so bad that I eventually parked on the Tigers car park, someone kindly gave me some money for parking and we joined a civilised queue to pay lol at what must have been about midnight, why oh why we were bothered about getting a parking ticket I don't know, maybe our scrambled brains were scrapping around for some sort of rational thought and that was all it could come up with lol

Anyway I got down the ground to join a few thousand others, lines of cars hooting as they crawled past the stadium and the floor was ankle deep in champagne bottles that you had to wade through, I remember seeing the hotel guests all looking out their windows watching. I took a walk round the back of the stadium to take a look at my mothers brick before just screaming my head off like some lunatic. I think I headed off home some time after 2 and the place was still rammed with more people coming down.

Living outside the city , i missed out on that side of things.

Stayed next door at the premier inn for Everton and came up for the precession.

Never seen so many city fans getting on the train at Wellingboro, Kettering and Mkt Harborough ?

I bet there won't be so many on Saturday ?

I couldn’t go anywhere cuz I had the kids but I went outside shed a tear or two and enjoyed the fireworks that were set off and then went inside and flicked between every major news channel for about 4 hours

Next D.I.Y project is to build a time machine n go back to 2016, I think to the away day Old Trafford... great day out....1-1 was the perfect result.. didn't want to win it that day. The way we did win it was perfect just like the season, fantastic night in Leicester n down the ground was mental, it gave us the days leading up to the Everton game n the trophy lift to sort of soak it up slowly. Then the City came out for the celebration in the park...it just went on and on into the Charity shield n the Brugge trip... just love to go back without the stress of each game being ticked off .....hmmmm...if only....LCFC.

It still seems surreal, I'm not sure there are words to adequately describe it. Although i have a go at any given opportunity!

Just to finish the perfect weekend off, i was sat next to a spurs fan on my flight home after the Everton game. He was delighted when i rocked up in my city shirt :scarf:

I remember watching the Chelsea vs Tottenham game. The last 5 minutes, I woke my everyone up and all of us watched this. The final whistle blew and I begged my partner to drive to the KP with the kids and she wasn't happy. but when we got there she understood. What a night. Amazing. If a time machine could be invented I would go back and put £1000 when it was 5000/1 and then re-live it. Amazing, Certainly up there with the best year of my life.
